She pissed off too many bigwigs. All those saying she wants a role to showcase her talents, I call BS! There is no WAY she would have said no to TOH or the SRK/ ALR if it had been offered to her. I believe she was shown the door since SRK no longer wants to work with her. SK is out because of Kat, another movie with ABSr is out too since he is miffed too. She does not have the acting chops to carry a movie on her shoulders. She does not have too many choices.

If she works with Khans it will age her. Anu is still on right side of 30. She is working with Ranveer. RK's next 2 movies have actress. Varun looks too boyish. Sid needs to pull himself up. Kumar tends to go for cheaper actress. Devgan wants younger pairing. The only guy she is left to pair is Irfan which she is doing.

She needs to pick a really good story and produce it or find backer. Waarna she will end up doing XXX movies. And that will be pity.

Padmavati has potential to benefit the male star more than her. 😊

Working with Khans should not age her coz she has established good chemistry with RK and RS too. Her case is better than Sonakshi's case.

Kangana, I think everyone know she insane lady with her annoying AF behavior.

latest, I saw Deepika on camera, behavior her looked like an insane person. Shook her head, smiling broadly sorts of insane people.The way she made me confused is this woman insane or not. 🤢

Priyanka also like that. At her age, she acting like cute-cute girl. how...🤢 You're almost 40!

She has Padmavati releasing this November. She starts shooting for Vishal B's production movie with Irfan in the lead this August. Also Shooti is writting a script for her in his next film 😊

True. Sona's case is hopeless but DP with Khan won't be good for her right now. With them she will be placed in older bracket, Camera ages females. It adds pound and age in equal proportion. It wouldn't have been a problem if she was working every year. There would have been flow.

This is delicate time for her. She has lost that 2013-15 youthful prettiness and she lost 2 years when she could have been seen by new set of audience. She needs a proper script like Piku to regain the lost balance. Or a nice rest so she can regain her freshness...

DP makes the BEST pairing with older actors like SRK, Irfan, Saif in my opinion. And I hope she continues to work with SRK because I love their chemistry from Om Shanti Om to Chennai express. I actually think she makes better pairing with SRK than being paired with so called young actors

DP has great chemistry with SRK.

Saif just does not match up to her.

Her best pairings are with RS + RK.

She also looks great with Akki.

Would love to see her with Hrithik rather than Tiger or Varun.

This forum or more spevifically some members seem to be obsessed with DP. Every other day some new thread on her. She is bought in conversation even in threads discussing other actors. 😆

So now the topic is why she doesn't have any films... I think I also saw another thread on why she has burnt so many bridges...well I don't have any answer. From where I am sitting I only see a star who was at the top for many years and me for some reason seems to be shifting her priorities or taking it slow. Either ways good for her. It will be great if Padmavati turns out good for her though frankly speaking I don't have much hopes on SLB and was not impressed with her Mastani turn. But it sure will be interesting to see what she dies next because she is just not following the norm of signing probable blockbuster movies with big stars.
