I may be in minority, I never liked Atif's voice. When I first listened to his song "Bakhuda Tumi Ho" , I so wished someone else had sung that song. But I like Arijit voice. He was trained in classical music from a very young age, he has the right pitch, harkat, versatility and power to sing live without faltering.

Tell atif to sing lal ishq or nashe si chad gayi...
ppl always complain of arijit being monotonous but it's atif who uses auto tune and is monotonous...he's the most besura and over rated singer...
arijit is trained classical singer...he can sing any type of songs..
Arijit is far far better then atif... 👏

No one favoring Atif is saying that Atif has more talent or more in sur.

I am not music nerd so I dont know much about sur taal

I will give it to other side that in terms of sur and all Arjit is better

But the fact that he copies his style and that humsafar singer copying just makes Atif the first and original

And in my world copy is disqualification from competition. It is for same reason I dont like remakes etc. Be your own first.

Arijit sent Atif out of business coz he could sing same songs much better as he is trained singer.

Atif is mediocre , he is limited .
On the other hand arijit has gems like Phir le aaya , Sawaali si Raat , Channa Mereya , which i cant imagine Atif pulling off in his lifetime .

totally agree with u. Sonu (maybe even Arijit) would have sung this song much better...

another song that Atif ruined for me was - "mai wari jawan (piya o re piya)... the parts sung by shreya were so beautiful but Atif totally ruined that song for me
