In this case, the rumors started doing rounds soon after Dangal and only accelerated after TOH announcement.. and then the convenient spottings.. So yes, on the whole I think its a publicity stunt till I get to see concrete proof

There were no such rumours when he worked with Katy and anu.

And the movies did well.

So why spread such rumours now?

When Fatima was playing Kamal Hassan daughter's role in Chachi 420, Aamir was romancing Juhi in Ishq (1997, the same year).

I have no problem with age disparity in romance as long as it's genuine. People could be 25 years apart and who cares--if they love each other. This just doesn't seem so. Aamir is still married and Fatima is a starlet, who owes her career to Aamir Khan and Nitesh Tiwari. It's not a relationship on equal terms. Aamir clearly has an upper hand.

But, we don't really know the dynamics. Fatima could be fine with this, or even drooling over Aamir. So, yeah.
