I think they are the best choices, for the following reasons: popularity across all ages of people. And they can talk well, articulate well etc and connect to people.

Think of the alternatives: Sridevi, who cannot string a sentence properly. Kajol, a blabbermouth with no grace and no connect to people. The older ones like Hema Malini and Jaya Bachchan have gone senile and act too grumpy.

Of course there is no female parallel to Bachchan in terms of his demanour, the way he speaks Hindi, his baritone, how he connect to people, but if they want a female version Madhuri or Aish are the best choices.

Considering Madhuri was called Female Amitabh Bachchan, the choice makes sense. They want a female mega star, who are loved across age barriers and whose name is at least some match to replace Big B. That's why Madhuri & Aish. Logically choices are right. But yes. KBC and Big B, cannot think of anyone else in his place. When I compare Big B & Madz-Aish, cannot form any image. But I ll give them a chance.

That way opposition is understandable.

When Salman had replaced Big B as host of Big Boss everyone had thought he will be unable to match Big B's charisma. He will not be able to bring successful hosting. But he did and how. So they deserve a chance.

I think Amitabh is not doing it due to his health. Some issues had come up in his last season of hosting too due to his health if I remember correctly. I read somewhere recently doctors have advised him to take it easy and not put so much pressure on his health.

Ash is being approached, not because of her connection with audience, but because she is AB's bahu. It's one of those things where the sly connection with AB still remains even if the anchor changes. Of course, AB Jr. can't be the contender because a female is required this time.

Madhuri is being considered because of her earlier success. But I don't think it would be a good idea considering how she just keeps giggling and gushing and blushing and complimented only all the time on all her TV shows.

Both are horrible choices, they need someone who can connect to people. Akshay kumar would be great choice but no one can replace AB
