P.S. do you know what irked me most in the climax?that mahendra took his first decision in the name of sivagami! agreed she sacrificed her life for him..but that was the least thing she could do to amend her sin.but she remains the PRIME reason why mahendra never got to know his great father,who lived and died for the kingdom and why his mother had to suffer all these years!!

i'd have liked it if he gave his first order in the name of his nanna garu AMARENDRA BAAHUBALI, proclaiming himself amarendra bahubali 's waaris and rajmata Devasena 's son!

but no SSR couldn't stop himself from mentioning the so called epitome of justice again!that's called overrating a character,as priya said!

Though I love Amar and Sivagami scenes I hate her character now completely.I too guessed that she had a part in Baahu's death but never expected she would be this dumb. To err is fine, even if she wanted to kill Baahu at the spur of the moment also I can understand but when Kattappa is saying he is not of that type shouldn't she have considered?? Atleast call him in and ask.Why that ego ?? And this is the lady who so bravely attacked the minister trying to ascend the throne in part 1.Bah !
The injustice she did to Baahu and his family is one thing but what irks me is how they hail her so much if this was her character trait ?? A totally overrated character. She's a complete misfit to that 'epitome of justice' title.

Its her ego and pride that didnt let her talk to Amarendra once. Because she knew she was wrong all along deep in her heart. It was more like Brain versus Heart. And the brain won. Moreover, she was blinded by her guilt feeling of injustice to her other son.

She knew Baahu couldn't be wrong, thats why she refused a public Rajya Sabha. She was even ready to kill him with her own hands. She breastfed him and she wanted to murder him? Really Sivagami? How can you be the Rajmata of the people then?
When it came to her son, when she got to know about Bhalla's true nature, she said to organize a Rajya Sabha right away. Why didnt she kill him as soon as she got to know the truth?

One more thing that is most irritating... sivagami has no empathy towards devasena, let it be when she was pregnant n chained even though not guilty, or when she was about to give birth, taking away her husband forever.😡😡😡Everyone in the movie knew exactly what they were doing, except sivagami...she had no idea what she was doing. She is a woman. She gave birth to a son. Couldn't she understand what Devasena had gone through?
In fact, she had already lived this situation once. Amarendra's father, the then King, died as a warrior.
His wife died after she delivered Amarendra. So she had to raise Amarendra. She knew the hardships she had gone through. Why did she wish Devasena the same?
Devasena is as strong and straightforward as her. Is that so? Then you should hate yourself Sivagami
