Latest news is he didnt take up tailoring as a profession but some NGO relocated him to South India where hes working as a cook at a roadside dhaba, unknown location so he would be protected from attacks.

If one of the most high profile and fasttrack cases takes 5 years, then I shudder to think about the other unknown and unpoliticized cases.

Also, SC's judgments are quite random. In the case of Bilkis Bano, who was actually 5 months pregnant at the time of being gangraped, and 14 of her family members were murdered by them including her 3 year old daughter, they only got life imprisonment not death sentence. Was her suffering any less? Our judiciary is extremely pathetic.

I haven't followed that case to know or speak about it but in this case they not only gang raped her but inhumanely tortured her which left the judiciary in shock and beyond disturbed. I guess the death sentence is because of the inhumane and diabolical nature of the case. Also given the fact that the rapists have a mindset that they did nothing wrong adds to it.
