Bahubali total budget around 400 to 450 crore rupees and of that VFX is like 100 crores ? And I still maintain Bahubali graphics better. Cameron is still working on his green people story underwater after all these years.

Oh please. Stop it already. I beg you. You are just embarrassing yourself by comparing Avatar with Bahubali. I mean bahubali aint even worth calling a poor man's Transformers and you are comparing with Avatar.

Everyone has different views opinions. I haven't watched Baahubali 2 yet but I know that I'm not going to like it. First part was average for me as well. But both the movies are considered as masterpiece by majority of Indian audience. Baahubali will now be counted as one of the best movies of all time. But I don't think Avatar is counted as one of the best Hollywood movies of all time. People usually talk about Citizen Kane, The Godfather series, Vertigo etc. whenever they talk about best Hollywood movies of all time. Avatar isn't even considered as James Cameron's best. Titanic is usually considered as the best movie of James Cameron which itself isn't any Classic movie IMO.

So the comparison isn't that ridiculous as it sounds. I personally think that Avatar was a much better movie than Baahubali, but that doesn't means everyone should think like that. Majority of Indians will chose Baahubali over Avatar as it has the Indianness, the earthy feel which Avatar lacks as it was made for Americans and not Indians. There is nothing shocking in it. But yeah, if you are saying that Baahubali 2 had better vfx than Avatar, then you are definitely high on something.

Oh get off your high horse. It is my opinion and I stand by it. I love HW movies as much as anyone but Cameron or they are not the Holy grail of movies. Avatar certainly is not his best movie. Terminator, Aliens, Titanic, Abyss are way, way, way better and more ground breaking. If HW thought Avatar was so great and ground breaking they would have given him best director and best film Oscar. Instead it went to his ex and her movie Hurt Locker that year.

Cameron during Avatar thought the future of TV was 3D and everyone would wear enhanced glasses to watch TV at home. He was all 3D, 3D, 3D. The whole 3D thing failed miserably. So lets not toot the horn of Cameron too much.

I am not an Indian citizen, but of South Indian origin and I am proud of a little studio in Hydrabad that managed to get world class graphics in a very small budget compared to HW movies. Cameron can learn how to do that. He is still working on Avatar 2,3,4,5 and god knows how many versions with nothing concrete in sight.

Oh my... so now Bahubali has world class graphics ? 🤣 even tom & jerry had better graphics than your beloved bahubali.

Please tell me what are you on? Then we can stop discussing this. I don't think you are aware what you are blabbering.

Well she never mentioned what she liked. I loved Avatar but I could understand if this person like Bahubali more because of the story or acting. Perhaps it resonates with their culture and made it more enjoyable?

Hmm...I must be on something because I thought you liked my post and now it is not there. Pressed the wrong button by mistake.

Tom and Jerry has better graphics, now I know you are on something.

Let me repeat in small words. Cameron needed 3D to show the effect of the leaves his team worked on. He thought that was the future. All these years later, who the hell wears 3D to see those leaves. On the other hand, the temples of Mahismati will be the same today, tomorrow a decade hell even 50 years from now. You can watch it on any medium, your phone, tablet, laptop even on your outdoor projector. It will still look the same. That to me is worth something. That alone makes it superior, plus the budget. So if you are trolling for more, sorry cya !!
