KJO was afraid of repercussions, so he decided not to make it. 🤔. He said so recently in some interview.

But for me, I'm happy with him in south. I don't want him to take a crap script just for the sake of it, and I trust him on that. If he comes, he'll come with a good movie. He anyway enjoys the status of a king here and is popular internationally too.

Oh I know about him. I am just saying hard work, dedication and good acting alone is not going to work in a new market. He needs to let people know about the product. BW has some very articulate people even though they cannot act so the audience is used to that.

And yeah,I too don't want him to take a crap script just to make an entry into BW but if he is doing so, I think he should open up about the product more. He can talk, just that he is shy in a new environment and it shows.

Acha... And bollywood makes 100% good movies all the time with wonderful roles for women?
Seriously some comments in thid forum! Jr NTR can't act 😆 He is a wonderful actor with the best dialogue delivery. Yes, nepotism exists just as in bollywood. And telugu industry has fans for each hero they worship. It is at a different level. Even with all these limitations Rajamouli and his team came up with a gem of a movie which attracted the whole nation. So, more power to them.

Just like how a lot of bollywood stars say they don't feel it is so important to get work in hollywood. Similarly if prabhas and anushka are happy in south movies, they can just keep doing that.

No need to trash other industries. They cater to theie regional audience. Every industry has its own pros and cons.

@bold. 👏

Find it rather obnoxious the way the media ask about Bollywood and Hindi films, the way it's asked is like, that's the next step, the big step, to move on up.

Actors moving between industries and multi-lingual films is natural, but the manner which it's asked and assumed is insulting.

They would given the kind roles they excel at! Otherwise I'm always happy watching them in south films. I think their films are getting released nation wide without them trying hard for Bollywood, so doesn't matter.

The question is valid because barring few movies like Bahubali none of the regional movies have been successful in enjoying pan India support. For 4 south state, there are around 15 + Hindi speaking/understanding states and they all watch Bollywood movies.

Getting down to question of Prabhas working in Bollywood, if he has Kjo's support he should get here. It will be awesome opportunity for him. This statement is from Telugu newspaper- Bollywood is undergoing renaissance and Telugu industry should learn from them. Bollywood's last biggest hit was Dangal with powerful feminist message and thought provoking subject on parenthood. I think it is time to face it. Bollywood may not have reached lofty position but it has definitely shaken off its mediocre past.

For all smirking Salman does and arrogance he throws out, he has worked hard in Tubelight. Akshay may act silly at times but his movies touch upon difficult and sensitive subjects. And these actors are not even known for their acting. From masala to romantic to historical to social to musical to noir to comedy to whimsical, mainstream Bollywood is exploring different genres all in same year. I don't many industry who are doing all at same time. It is time we stop running Bollywood down.

PS: Anushka is too old to restart in different industry. She has reached good place out in South. 😳
