Yes thank you Armaan and Amaal!! Brutal but much needed. I can't stand Sonakshi and her brother sounds just as annoying.

He did differentiate between when an actor sings for films and when an actor represents our country on an important platform as a supposed singer. SK and SRK do not represent India in music concerts, posing as good singers. Anyhow, I do agree actors should not sing in films, that job should be left to singers. Too much of that trend. Only actor I love listening to as a singer, 'coz he has his own style and is not that bad is Amitabh Bachchan.

Amongst new actors, I guess Shraddha Kapoor is also a trained sin ger. she comes from a family of classically established singers. Even her Mausi: Padmini Kolhapuri was a good singer. She'd sang the famous song/bhajan in the Burning Train: Teri Hai Zameen.

Its ironic, that in past we had some good singers who were trained yet they did not attempt hands at singing much. Like Sulakshna Pandit, yesteryear actress (sister of Vijayate Pandit, Jatin-Lalit) and Padmini Kolhapuri and now we have flood of actors/untrained singers imposing their songs on us.

See...it's the differentiation that he has tried to make which I find darn hypocritical. If you care about talent and if you don't want to subscribe to mediocrity then how are you so cool with superstars singing the songs you have composed? He knows he will get called out on it which is why I think he tried to differentiate. Do people really think the folks who will be going to see Justin perform care much about the opening acts? They will be going regardless of who the opening act is. Should the opening act ideally be a singer? Hell yeah! Can Sonakshi sing? Hell no! But if you are calling her out for her mediocrity as a singer then shouldn't you apply that principle to the likes of SK as well when it comes to singing? How is it not hypocritical when you are asking him to sing for you when there is plenty of talent out there in your field who can sing a thousand times better than him.

Someone else stated that because Shahrukh , SK or Aamir haven't sung in a concert , it's all cool...lol! But if the principle here is mediocrity then none of them should even sing in films...period. Just like folks are buying tickets to Justin's concerts , people buy music albums , people buy tickets to watch movies as well.

As for representing India , this ain't the Oscars! 😆 It's a Justin Bieber concert where the organizers should be held responsible for the way it's being conducted. Why not question them when it comes to the Sonakshi issue! The same thing happened when it came to the Coldplay concert. So many folks from Bollywood turned up , some of them sang even though they can't sing (Sonakshi included) so if the issue here is mediocrity , it should be directed to the folks who are requesting these non singers to sing at the first place and that includes Amaal and his brother who too have in the past asked actors who can't sing to sing the songs composed by them.

I generally don't like such nuisance but man... amaal owned it... while armaan remained calm throughout the drama but amaal clearly didn't... nd this was much needed...
when luv questioned y they didn't called out for salman singing... the answer lies in his sister's reaction... she called out on armaan nd not kailash kher... I honestly loved that he called out on his film failure coz luv did the same... nd u reap what u sow... I don't appreciate castigation generally but it's coming from both the ways... so while amzal can be wrong but luv nd sona surely don't deserve mercy on their crass behaviour... especially when she Is this terrible...

Ok that was somewhat brutal. But still, I feel no stmpathy for Sonakshi because of how entitled she acted before. And how did anyone come up with the idea of putting Sonakshi in collaboration with Justin.
