Lolol there are posts such as these and makes me wonder how ignorant people here are of the international scene. Justin Bieber is VERY popular. It IS a big deal. That was way too many years ago when people hated his music or he seemed too juvenile. Irrespective of his personal life, his professional one is definitely on fire.

Back to the post. I had a great time reading this post and I am so with Amaal on this, he knows how to put people in their place. My Luv hahaha. What a gem of a post.

I'm surprised at the responses here. Are people not familiar with Justin's album Purpose? Where Are You Now was blasting everywhere throughout summer 2015 (arguably one of the best songs on that album and maybe even that year itself..not to mention - STILL plays on the radio from time to time even today). That song has a Grammy win, guys (and a Skillrex + Diplo production).

The song Sorry has been number 1 on Billboard Top 100 and is a multi-platinum song. It's still always playing on the radio and this song is nothing new at this point. In fact his entire album I believe has scored a rank on the Billboards somewhere at different points in time.

I'm not a teen, but this guy has been trying to produce some good music. Of course if you're not into mainstream music, his music may not cater to your taste but the kid is very successful and has produced music for everyone at this point with the album Purpose. So no, it isn't just Justin Bieber guys...this tour is a huge deal for Indians...or it should be at least.

I think the adults have a difficult time separating JB from his childish ways. There are so many things hes done that just make you wanna roll your eyes and not take him seriously. Its not an issue that just a lot of people on this forum are grappling with them, its an issue with people at large around the world.

Other than that, I agree with you. He's made the transition from tween-throb to having an adult fan base very strategically and successfully. His music does cater to adults and no one I know is ashamed of listening to it. It good, fun music, that's all I can say of it.

and his tickets are between 5000-10000 so i guess he is way more popular hear than all other countries combined lol😆

It's cool to like Coldplay and Avicii. But Justin Bieber, 1D are trash.

No idea who decides these rules, but people sure love pandering to them. 😆 Bieber might not be to everyone's tastes but there's no need to undermine those who like him, or deny that he's hugely popular.
