who told you nobody had problems with Kamli strip tease or Chikni Chameli or Shiela Ki Jawani?? People had problems, articles criticising it, scoof videos were released. Although these criticism were mostly for sexualization of woman especially Chameli, and not for the performance.
Kareena is still ridiculed for Fevicol and Mary. So don't try to paint Deepika as an victim. This kind of ridiculing or making fun of happens with every actor. Today you will see Kareena/Katrina/Sonam fans making fun of Raabta, yesterday you saw people calling Kala Chasma trashy, just Katrina thumping her chest etc etc, tomorrow if there is another Masallah in TZH, you will see Deepika fans calling it trashy and s**tty. It goes on and on.
Asides , Kamli. Chikni Chameli and Shiela Ki Jaawani are critically appreciated either there choreography or song or performance of Katrina, plus they were also smash hits in all type of platform commercially. While Fevicol was critically trashed(although it was hit in channels) for Kareena's poor performances and Raabta is same as it is a really poor video package.
