Salman still being single at the age of 42 means only three things that either he is still waiting for his Ms. Right or he does not wish to tie down and lose his independence or he is still nursing a hangover of Ms. Rai. Now in any of these three situations Media will definitely make him appear like an underdog. It is best for him only to consider settling down.

Exactly...I feel the Bachchans are making Ash play to the gallery....They should be glad that she's marrying their son,she's not the world famous Aishwarya Rai for nothing.. She's beauty personified!!..Abhishek isnt even the numero uno actor of the hindi movie industry as of now..And at times I find them to be a mismatch,Abhi's totally eclipsed by her beauty,grace and dignity!!....Bachchans surely need to consider themselves lucky,Abhi cant get a better girl than Ash,whereas she can do much better than him!!....ABhi's not bad,he's one of the better guys in the industry but just not good enough for her(speaking about looks and popularity)

I can't find any articles to back my points up but I have read them. Most state that Salman is ready for marriage but Katrina wants to focus on her career. In fact, there were a whole bunch of "trouble in paradise" articles a few months ago about this. So infact it is Katrina who is making him wait. I guess thats what you get for having such a young girlfriend. I mean how many 20 something year old actresses get married?! But hopefully one day marriage will happen for him.

And as others pointed out the tapes turned out to be fake. All allegations were cleared against him.

Okay thanks. If that is the truth then I guess Salman is ready but Katrina is not. But Salman does not have age on his side. Katrina can easily wait for the next 10 years and have no mar on her career or marraige prospects with any eligible bachelor. But the question is can Salman honestly afford to wait for even 3 years. Age is now showing on his face and it is not good for one's sanity also to be going around like a bachelor at the age of 42.

Outta the current crop he's the best for Ash. Damn, if only hrithik wasn't married....he would've been perfect for ash--in terms of looks and popularity (and age!) atleast.....although I must add tht some1 as serious as ash needs some1 as light-hearted as Abhi---opposites do attract!😉

Hmm I somewhat agree. I think it is more important for women to be married by a certain age because of the ticking biological clock. But since guys can have kids upto almost any age its not that big a deal. But if I were a guy I wouldn't want to have kids at 45 or anything because when my children grow up I want to be around as long as possible. But I guess since Salman is in good shape he'll be around for a while 😆
