Good analysis but I don't think Varun was compared to Govinda for BKD at all whether from critics or audiences as he had more emotional and darker shade role which isn't typical Govinda type characters.

In past for Dilwale and Main Tera Hero, he's was said to be going Govinda way but BKD was his best along Badlapur

But what was the reason he is no.1 and not no.2. My reason is Salman has never gone below 100 crore since he had his 1st 100 crore hit . He has had no film fall under that mark like Talaash or Fan. Also cause he has a release every year. If you are only part time in the game how can you be considered to be winning the game ??

Salman ahead of Aamir is a joke, until Salman breaks the all time highest grosser record set by an Aamir film he will and should always be below him.

Aamir does 1 movie in 2 years, Salman does 3 - 4 movies in 2 years. Why not tell aamir to do more movie so we can see the result.

And Salman will never decrease the number.

So, he should be at no 1 NOW.

The ranking is based on current standing of Bollywood which can depend on many factors. But if we talk about the box office pull and stardom, then I'll put SRK in 2nd and Aamir in 3rd position. Opening day collections depends on stardom and lifetime collections depends on WOM. Giving 20+ crores opening despite facing clash and 19 crores opening for a niche movie is not at all an easy task.

PS: Not an SRK fan.
