It all seemed too rushed and as the TM said too many loose ends.
I would have liked it better if Ayaan would have just understood that Alizeh considers him a friend and thats it.There was no need to show Fawad's character in a bad light and no need for Alizeh and Ali to go seperate ways.Had Alizeh and Ayaan been good friends inspite of Alizeh and Ali being married and in love ot wpuld have been more realistic.Just because you are in love and married to someone doesn't means you won't be friends with someone.
And I don't think I need to mention how bad the last half an hour was.
I think the movie could have turned out pretty well if Karan Johar would have kept it more realistic and sensible.

Because Ayan was a dumb manchild who wanted Alizeh at any cost as if she was his favourite candy.
Because it appeared that he was dying to get laid with her. Even when she was dying!
Because Alizeh was a spineless girl who went back to the ex who had dumped her. Because she sustained with him even when he was cheating on her in the marriage & left him only when she discovered she's going to die.

I think Kjo just lost the script for the second half of the movie. So he thought of pulling off a KHNH by putting a cancer story with no head or tail. He must have thought that public is emotional fool but he forgot that KHNH had SRK who rised above the movie coz of his brilliant acting. KHNH wouldn't have been even half as good without the awesome performances of SRK, Saif and Priety.

Editing of 20-25 minutes would have made the movie more watchable. It dragged on and on. Specially climax

And Kjo is terrible as director. No matter how good story you give him, he will make it drag and drag

That cancer track was not required and killing Alizeh was an easy ending. It seems that Ayan's love was unrequited becoz Alizeh was dead and he had to move on but in reality Alizeh never loved him.

I don't think KJo explain it clearly that why Alizeh never loved Ayan

The other relationship Tahir-Saba, Ali- Alizeh and Ayan-Saba could have explored more especially that of Ali-Alizeh because that was the main element in Alizeh's character and back ground.

Story moves too much in rush and no character development at all.

i liked the movie

but karan never goes into detailing

so anushka is a single woman..not living with her parents..getting cancer treatment..but what does she even do for a living? does she even work at all..now that she is at 4th stage of cancer..who pays for her treatment and living?how can a director let go such details..
