I actually wanted Saba and Ayaan to end up together
But he was running after Alizeh
Also didn't like how fawad's character shaped up
Many lose ends
We never really know why Tariq and Saba separated
And the ending was super cliche

adhm was dragged..
when alizeh returns n ayaan meets
suddenly she has cancer..the next 20 min is unnecessary
stupid cliched n sucks..
saba herself had said she has no place for relationship
in her life..so i dnt feel ayaan wronged her by having
a causal fling..it was saba who fell in love..n ayaan never forgot
alizeh so he did nt deserve saba so saba was right to show him the door..
alizeh never wanted to become husband wife with ayaan fearing their
relationship will become cliched..as husband wifes life is super boring
n i agree with that 😆 so she was also right to nt want to spoil the
fun the freedom that friendship offered.ayaan was also nt wrong if
he wanted to have alizeh for life.bt defo kjo is wrong to try do a kal ho na ho
n introduce the cliched cancer plot once more n i hated adhm just for the cancer track..
kjo perhaps feels cancer would invoke a feeling of sympathy n film would be hit..
bt no this very cancer track ruined the entire movie n its due to this alone that
adhm did nt have repeat audience..so second half of adhm is pathetic n cringeworthy 🤢

It was all lazy writing...🥱 but when KJo said it was more or less his life story, it made sense that cancer came to take Anushka away..because I read that cancer is PC..PC who took SRK away from KJo 😆 I read that in a blind item.

The character development was sloppy, we didn't really know much bout thier backgrounds and everything happend way too fast, ayan and alizeh were freinds for like 1-2 weeks, and he fell madly in love with her? Wasn't believable, plus the cancer storyline was just rediculous, it's like kjo didn't know how to end the movie so he just added alizeh getting cancer
It was too unrealistic for me

KJo needs to take his time writing stories. 😆 There was no character development or arc for any character.

The question is how did a movie like ADHM get made. How high was everyone to not have realized what utter bull crap they were producing? Must be some special KJo weed or sth to make them believe they were working on something that is going to knock the audience out.
It certainly did. I was having problem sleeping, like that sleepless week was v v tough for me, I needed to sleep, but no sleep was coming, it was like sleep was afraid of me, I wanted to sleep to greet me with a hug at night, but sleep was just not willing to do that, I had almost given up on our relationship, I thought maybe I have issues with sleep commitment, I had long given up on finding my sleep ever again.

Then I watched ADHM

understood that there are shittier relationships in this world

and I fell asleep right after Ranbir started hitting himself with a fake pot like psycho ex-revived.

Good that the actors were paid a hefty amount for the torture they underwent while shooting for the movie. Such a waste of talent and money, I swear. 🤢

1. KJO does not live in a reality most of us live in as amply demonstrated by his movies. He cannot tell a story most of us can relate to without resorting to cliches.

2. In KKHH, he was in his 20s when he told a story that was ridiculous and full of cliches. He has not learned anything much in those 20 years. Nothing we can do about it.

3. So what makes KKHH a classic and ADHM a joke. The actors. The ADHM actors are all good actors but they could not make me sympathize with them or identify with them. I mean if I could not feel sympathy for a cancer victim and rolled my eyes, KJO pretty much lost me as an audience. In KKHH though what saved it are SRK-Kajol and that makes the audience root for them despite classics like "pyar ek baar hota hain" and falling in love at first sight seeing her in a saree. 🤔. Also the Salman character was very sympathetic and you were torn between wanting SRK Kajol to be together and sympathy for Salman. There was a purity in story telling with the cliches in KKHH of a naive and optimistic KJO as a first time director and story teller. 20 years later, it comes across as manipulative and of a storyteller who has not improved and resorts to cheap tricks like the cancer track.

What's strange and funny is how the movie discussions when the film released made it appear like its another classic...Now that its been a few months the disaster happened, people are slowly coming out of the denial and accepting that it was a trashy movie...👍🏼
