world. Mujhe pehle yeh log fake lagte the,
theek vaise he jaise main inhe over acting
wala lagta tha, stupid lagta tha (Laughs).

They can watch best of the things on
internet. This is a good thing that has
happened. Yeh ek cheez hui ki ab theatre
value kam ho gayi hai because vo apne
mobile par bahut cheezein dekh le rahe
hain.
What's your thought on comedy these
days?
Now comedy has shifted on TV. Now Kapil
Sharma and Krishna are doing dhamaal
because they have good writers. Agar mujhe
comedy likhi nahin milti thi to we use to do
in such a way that people use to laugh till
the climax. Because when I came in the
industry I was a writer. They don't get good
songs also. Ranveer Singh gets good songs
sometimes and I like them. They all are
super hit. I like his choices of films. Unmein
ek class hai. At the same time vo khud mass
ka aadmi hai, to uski comedy zyada achchi
lagti hai. Others are just struggling and they
are to their best at struggling. All are good
but they are struggling.
Will your son Yashvardhan follow your
footsteps?
He will be better than me because he
understands the industry well. He has
studied in London. He understands
technicalities, planning. I want to give break
to many newcomers. I'm launching five
newcomers.
What went wrong with Tina debut?
I don't want to discuss her career because
these days I'm busy with my own career.
Which of your three films should be
remade today?
I will never suggest because I don't give
suggestions for free. I charge for that
(Laughs). And the most important thing is
that this is so costly business that what if
you suggest something and that goes
wrong. So that person will never forgive
you. Why should I give suggestions?

Lol he isn't bothered about daughters career but his own. Yaha baaki parents beta beti ko launch kar rahe and this guy still wants to be a hero. He ain't a Salman Shah or Amir they never took break or join politics or do classless movies to stay afloat. I mean even now they are not playing 90's hero if you look at it that way they playing character which audience today can connect to unlike Govinda who is stuck being the 90's hero.
