I saw on twitter that domestic net was 4.02 Crores(gross 5.8 or something) and Worldwide gross 5.58
And one Fox release said they came on board immediately cz the budget was very correct as much as the story or something of that sort..

Yeah...how ignorant...Diljit is hardly any star compared to BigB or even Irfan in bollywood...also Piku got rave reviews which also helped the movie (a well known director as well for multiplex audience). With good reviews Phillauri would have opened above 5crrs+

NH 10 did around 3.25crrs 2 years back without any Diljit or star...Anushka may not be be on the level of Deepika at box office now but she is not completely dismissive as well. At least she is trying different kind of films like nh10 and phillauri as well apart from typical blockbusters.

^^ if u check #Phillauri tag on twitter one will see literally 85% audience responses r really positive as families r liking the all age group friendly nature of it and responding as such..
Hope it works well for the movie :)
