Vidya is good but overall the trailer is just okay. Not convincing enough.

Gauhar was there for 2-3 scenes, thought she has a meatier role!

So basically begum jaan is right on the border of India Pakistan and a wall needs to go through her house that separates the two country... british and their cronies ask her to vacate...local nawab is there to persuade her ..that does not work so a neutral thug who can kill anyone for money is sent and when begum jaan and her team defeats the thug - british send end their cronies ..

There is then epic battle..brave heart ...begum ..giving an inspirational speech to her comrades...to take up arms and then gun fight erupts with begum jaan leading from front

begum jaan and her comrades fell...defeated...but they will always be remembered for a courageous fight against the partition driven by their own kotha division complexities.

Vidya is acting so well! The accent, the body language, so perfect for the character she is playing, I see another nomination for best actress for her

Ehhh this will tank. The only one who will veg praise is Vidya because it's just the norm with her now, and Gauhar Khan, otherwise this will fail like I used to in Physics.

After 2 sec they showed its vishesh film, and my expectation was low, but it even failed my expectation. not interested.

Such a hard-hitting set up and and a heart-wrenching story but surprise surprise didn't even feel a bit of empathy for the characters.
The acting, I am afraid, is looking very superficial. Not even Vidya rises above the atrocity.
The bengali one is no different. And I am shocked they copied every frame of the bengali trailer.
