All the characters looked fake to me

Very underwhelming. Didn't stir any emotions in me. I expected the screenplay & dialogues would be so intense that people will be crying buckets but this one is bland.
Why are the women talking in Punjabi BTW?

Since the TM also posted the bengali version promo, I ended up watching up that too(If Jaby koay can do it so i guess I can do it, without understanding the language, lol) Definitely the bengali version seems more intense and impactful but I'm surprised some scenes in both the trailers look exactly the same. Is that a regular thing? For movies that are re-made?

Vidya is okay but the direction and the dialogue is atrocious.Another one bites the dust with the trailer. Its becoming a norm these days.

Killed whatever interest I had in this movie. Not that impactful as expected

Didn't work for me.. Looks like one more flop for Vidya..

I guess they have a punjabi dialect because the characters are from the Punjab region in the film.The dressing style of the characters makes it look like there's probably a mix of Rajasthani,Haryanvi and Punjabi characters.Even in the original,some of the characters speak with a Bangladeshi accent since they probably belonged to the part which was later partitioned into East Pakistan/Bangladesh.

Yeah, I think they have toned down Begum Jaan's character here (judging only by the trailer).Begum Jaan in the original looked more ferocious and queen like. This one lacked everything,looked really fake.I think it's also because they had to tone down the intensity in the remake otherwise no way would it be passed by the censors.The original was brutal but bold bengali films do get passed by the regional censors. Also, yeah, I think they have used some of the scenes from the original in this.Jugaad, I guess.😆

VB outshines no matter how the film is. Huma would have been best choice instead of pallavi. Gauhar ka itna Sa role bus?
