OT, Sonam looks nice in the pictures!

And I agree - molestation at any age is traumatic! And it's a huge blow to self esteem and life in general.

against other women in the industries that it makes me wonder sometimes how much full of contradictions she are.I mean she comes from the same family which talk how the sister trash Harsh's GP if they are not up to their standard. I mean she is the same person during cleavage controversy ,don't know where to start on contradictions.

As for sexual molestation, good that she is bringing upfront and it getting coverage to bring issue to the light. Victims should know it's never their fault, esp. women .It's black listed to even mention it.I completely emphasize with her.

Just wish she would stop bringing down women constantly, and be consistent on issues, that's all.

Regardless,i loved this interview.

As for Sex Ed, well, a lot of society needs Sex Ed 101 and it's not even funny. The more open discussion we have on sex, the more beneficial it is. The discussions related to it are something that should never be buried under the carpet.

Defining today's Sonam with the one from 10 years ago is quite simplistic. She grew up and understood some things she didn't back then.

That's the problem here, people dissect messages and instead of taking the best of the interview, they focus on the the bad irrelevant ones.

Astha, there were instances where men spoke shit regarding women like - Tiger mentioning how he prefers village girls because they are timid in nature! Salman's rape comment and Ranveer's misogynist and obnoxious ad for a jeans brand got a lot of flak too. Trust me, they were torn apart for their extremely biased and MCPish behavior. This forum is one of the rare places where people are actually not really pro-men and tend to be a lot more open minded. I do not speak for all but a great number of people are.
Sonam and Kangy get called names NOT because they are "feminists". They are obnoxious in their behaviors and viewpoint more often than not and that compels people to lash out at them. I am a feminist myself but that doesn't mean I have to support anyone uttering the word "feminism" to suit their agendas. Such blind and outrageous brand of feminism serves no purpose and rather make people averse to it.

I beg to disagree, multiple topics weren't opened for days when these guys said those things. Quid of Varun and his calling for the bullying of a girl on Twitter ?

The message Sonam and Kangana want to vehiculate about feminism might differ from your view on the subject, but it's still feminism.

Feminism has multiple shades and forms because the struggle depends of the world rgion, the culture and the social but the finality is that all those women want equality and recogniton.

@Madam,89.The cleavage statement was only I believe 2 years ago, and i believe they trash all Harsh GF , that is recent too,it was not 10 years ago.She reminds of those elitist the one who preache , but are full of contradictions.

If Sonam has really matured, and grew as a human, then kudos to her, good for her..👍🏼

Like ur assuming, like the forum i only look at negative, u jumped into conclusion with me too. I give credit where is needed, and will call out b.s. when I see it, regardless of the star. So, please do not put me in a label.

I love this interview of hers , but am also weary due to her history, hope u understand.

Cheers.

Quid of Aamir "I'm Kiran's King"?
Quid of Salman "I felt like a raped woman"?
Quid of Tiger "I want a sweet village girl"?

Aren't those obnoxious statements ? Are they still brought up when their is a topic on one of them ?

Srk can call himself king khan because he has been in the business for like 25 years and is a bloody BRILLIANT actor! Not because he is a man! Man this delusional woman is bitter! You are not talented and a product of nepotism! Accept it and move on! Instead of using the feminism card! Height of stupidity!

I'd like to point out that Idk any male actor who talks like Sonam or Kangana and gets spared. They are called motormouth or psycho for a reason. Also, isn't Sonam the one who once called Aishwarya auntie? She has also dished out quite a few insults to other actresses. I wonder if that would have boosted the confidence of Aishwarya or the other actresses? Just saying Sonam isn't the best person to preach about this.

She doesn't need to pass a purity test before she's allowed to comment correctly on something else. Everyone makes mistakes and does bad/stupid things in life but it can't always be used to disqualify them from being right about something else.

These absurd standards of character are created for women on purpose so that *everyone* ends up failing them. Society does this on purpose so that nobody can then say anything and has to put up with the status quo. The game has always been rigged against women and other women are often the enforcers themselves which is just sad.

And yet people are still bringing up the aunty issue that is 10 years old or her different "feuds" that are some years old too.
