why do people not find Alia pretty?

May be there's something wrong with me...I find her VERY PRETTY...for me She is the prettiest actress after Ash...my friends here in South are always awestruck seeing her on-screen every time..may be we keralites/southies prefer cuteness over hotness...only in this forum I see comments like alia is not pretty n it still amuses me...how can someone find her not pretty... maybe it's what they say beauty is in the eyes of beholder...I think Alia is more popular in South than north

she has a baby face, she is not HOT, but she is PRETTY, does that make sense? she just needs to grow up more, the more she grows up the more pretty she will get!

Alia is the poster girl of all the upper middle class/ rich PYTs who begin college..She is not ugly for sure (I saw her once in a mall) but she is nothing enchanting either..a nice pretty girl with dimples..not a greek goddess or Apsara..

Somewhere that exactly is what strikes a chord with so many girls who like her the way she is, because many look like her and probably even possess as much GK as her..they can follow her style statements and dress up like her easily..coz she is not model-tall like Deepu/ Anu/ Sonam etc..or with an hour glass figure..she is a relatable actress lookswise and her everyday running English accent too resonates with all

Amongst the non-teen fans of hers..I know of many who love her more as an actress..looks are not the driving factor for those who appreciate her performances more..

She's just a marketing product exposed by Kjo and company. The media can say how hot she is 1000 times but the reality is that she looks belong average. Pretty are Yami Gautam or Disha Patani for example.

Fact is if she wasn't a film family kid, KJO wouldn't have given her a second look. We all know how she looked when she auditioned, she was chubby and cutesy. Now a guy casting for a sexy teenage girl for all the boys to drool over doesn't usually look like that.

Look at how he treated Anushka or Parineeti ??? Telling them their ugly to their face??? Or how apprehensive he was about Rani because she was overweight? Alia belly was also popping out in "Radha on the dance floor" ? Did he not see that? Anu Parineeti were at least decent in their debuts? Alia showed no promise in Student of the Year.
