why do people not find Alia pretty? - Page 8

She's average at best, a pure product of grooming, and still kind of a misfit in heroine roles. She's fabulous in more off-beat stuff though. Movie stars don't have to be beautiful, being average looking makes you relatable.

Look at how he treated Anushka or Parineeti ??? Telling them their ugly to their face??? Or how apprehensive he was about Rani because she was overweight? Alia belly was also popping out in "Radha on the dance floor" ? Did he not see that? Anu Parineeti were at least decent in their debuts? Alia showed no promise in Student of the Year.

Because she has baby face. Her looks her height her body everything looks like a pre-teen. It is most uncomfortbale to watch her in romantic scenes...like watching your little sister. You don't call them pretty..you call them cute!
And she is not even so cute in my opinion.

I think she is very relatable

She is not pretty but she is charming and relatable...like the girl next door. I like watching her on screen.

I don't think Yami is gorgeous either. She's prettier than Alia (though Alia is more charming and has better screen presence) but otherwise she's a normal pretty girl. Nothing beautiful.

And I don't know why some people act like you can't have an opinion if you don't look like a super model yourself. Your mind and thoughts are not discredited just because you yourself aren't Aishwarya Rai.

Also, I see prettier girls at my university all the time. Much prettier than the likes of Alia and Yami. I step out on the streets and go downtown and I see gorgeous men too. Better looking than all the men in BW. I don't know what it's like in India but where I live there are better looking people everywhere, and it's common to see.

She may not be conventionally pretty but who cares? She's totally adorable and charming!

To be honest , beauty is subjective no doubt . But that does not mean it does not have any definition .. There are feature which makes one to be called beautiful or classically beautiful . Putting Alia's photo with excessive make up does not make her beautiful ..See Alia 's without makeup photos you will know how beautiful she is ..

She was gorgeous in the handbag ad..and she was prettier without makeup in Highway than sonam wearing one kilo of makeup and her barely there tops.
