LOL, when was she ever a successful actress that she needs to be done and dusted. There is nothing applaud-worthy in getting lead/meaty roles as an actress from an older gen when she can't even shine in them. She single-handedly ruined Sarbjit with her so called 'acting'. And no, I can't ignore her because she had a lot of screen time in that film.

Decent roles maybe drying up for her contemporaries but at least they have a claim to fame other than the Cannes/Miss World tag. For example, people still fondly remember Kajol as one of the great actresses from her gen. Don't think anyone remembers Aish like that...

No matter how hard her haters try to undermine her achievements, her work speaks for herself..she's a Padmashri awardee, a 10-time Filmfare nominated actress (a feat only a handful actresses have achieved - this is because some consider Filmfare as a barometer although I personally do not), and has many other firsts to her name.

Fact is, at 43, she is still doing movies, getting both audience's love and critical acclaim and awards, and is still kicking your favourite's ass. Go Ash! You entered showbiz as an outsider in your teens and 25 years later are still reigning supreme. Can't blame them if some are still burning. Happy burning y'all.

No, she is not & she never will be. If not her meaty fil roles/good films/good fashion choices, excellent endorsements like Longines & L'Oreal, or even her surname Bachchan OR her ability to sneeze & a headline is made; just THAT AngelFace is enough for her to be the headlines for now & till whenever she's here. She isn't going anywhere because above everything else- She is a Survivor. Just ask Salman Khan. 😉

Ormax list is based on an extensive survey. They ask a lot of people from different demographics and take their opinion. Are you saying Aamir is number 1? Yes, indeed his films make the most money, but only because of their content. If Aamir starts making films of the same quality as Salman, would they still collect the same amount of money? I really doubt it. And when I said reigning supreme, I did not mean she was number 1, of course not, but because she's doing things few actresses have done at her age. She's being a trailblazer of sorts and that needs to be underlined.
