Adi should have made a better movie. It is a flop whichever way it is spelled out. If Mohenjo Daro is flop then I can understand their ranking.

Befikre is below average

Films that were also below average - Dil Dhadkne Do, Veer, Shivaay etc pretty much other flops

I think Below Average sounds much better than Flop.

Is there a proof Befikre shows were not cancelled. Or for that matter Chandramukhi. Or Chand Ka Tukda. Or every flop that has been made in industry. As far as I know every movie that are flop will have show cancelled because they are not earning enough money. 😛 😆

Befikre Budget, Screen Count, Economics: YRF Statement

Befikre Budget, Screen Count, Economics

Starring Ranveer Singh and Vaani Kapoor, Befikre marks the comeback of Aditya Chopra as a director. It is Adi's first directional without Shahrukh Khan in the lead. The film has been in the news due to its bold theme.

Befikre Budget:

Yash Raj Films has released the official budget of the film. The production cost of the film is about 55 crore and more 15 cr has been spent on marketing. The makers will also get a rebate from Paris which will reduce costs further.

Befikre Screen Count:

Befikre will have a good release in around 2100 screens only. The makers will target multiplexes in metros mostly due to the genre. But as per the official statement released by YRF, around 35% single screens have been booked for Befikre.

Befikre Economics:

Yash Raj Films will be distributing the film themselves. Befikre is a very much a safe bet as far the economics are concerned. In fact the producers will earn good profits even if the film fails at the box office. Minimum 40 crore will be recovered through music, satellite and digital rights. Then it will get a good share from overseas too. Thus whole investment is already recovered pre-release and all the box office collection will be its profits.
