SPOILERS:
He is just angry that night at himself that he could not protect her. Su is as well not at all a weak character, she decides to move on with life. But the real reason for suicide is the rape which happens again next day. Rapists say they will come regularly to rape her. Law and police is not helping them and her husband is as well visually impaired like her. Helplessness when it happens again is what makes her commit suicide.

We judge people too soon. I felt she is so weak when she committed suicide but we got to know the reason later.

thanks Piku for the clarification.
Selective reasoning of some of these articles writers make me feel like kicking thier gut. Whether branding Aarfa's decision in Sultan a sexist move or here this one.

Now Supriya tells Rohan, with tears in her eyes, that she totally understands how she is not the same for him, so if he wants she could leave this house and go back to her old job. Rohan sits on in sulky silence, not agreeing, not refuting.

Terrible

If this is true then it is pathetic

Ditto. The use of rape was such a turnoff, especially because it seems that rape and its after effects are not given proper importance or explored, rather rape is used a tool or a device to justify the hero's honor seeking revenge for his lover. It is just so ... cliche and even dangerous at this point. So is the female who actually got raped not to be solaced and comforted instead the hero who goes on to sulk and become morose? Like what kind of shitty ass reversal is that?

I honestly think hindi movies should NOT use rape as such plot devices anymore. It is NOT right, especially when rape and its after effects for its victims is such a huge issue in India. If you want to do a rape related movie or bring rape in the plot, do a movie like "Pink" where its given proper gravitas or not at all. It should especially not be used in hero centric movie where heros redeem their lovers who are raped with revenge from the goons. It is a disgusting way of going about it. Rowdy Rathore also had such cheap rape device and I was completely disgusted with that movie when I watched it.

Why are people deforming such a simple scene? Great shit happened to both of them because of the corrupt police officers after Su had been raped. Rohan was about to fight for the obtention of justice for his wife but Su had understood that it was hopeless to talk to the police, hence she told Rohan to let go. Rohan felt guilty and angry with himself about that which is why he couldn't face her. The next day, he went to apologize and support her but it was unfortunately too late because more shit had happened to her.

That is exactly what the writer is condemning here. He was too distraught to speak and couldn't face her? And what about her?

He is distraught as in he blames himself!! He is distraught because they got married, she moved in with him and this happened. He blames himself.

i watched the movie to my utter astonishment...anyway,yes that scene was so oops...and next thing we know the actress committed suicide and later got to know again she was raped...the character seems to struggle with his frustration of not been able to protect his wife and justice not done that he forgot the main point and the actress dialogue could have been otherwise than the you feel disgusted

But if she killed herself because of loneliness/shame (as he refused to speak to her), that is just terrible. Do they at least show him express guilt about that? Or is he just in victim/avenger mode?

Thats NOT true. He doesn't speak to her because he is shocked and in guilt mode due to his inability to fight the system. He is just feeling helpless. Not that he thinks she is any less of him which is clarified in the next scene itself. This is one of the big plot twists so wont reveal much but I think people are exxagerating this.
