Hoping for 20+ today...the film is HUGE with the masses...they will watch it on repeat because SS tickets are cheaper, right?

I have always said this film is trending exactly like CE. It would have easily gotten a BB tag if released alone.

Exactly! I dont know what they were thinking, RCE, SRK, Excel, whoever's decision it was to release it in a clash!
If they wanted holiday release they could have waited till the next national or religious holiday.

This movie had the potential to make 200 crores at least if released solo.

Clashes hurt both movies.

But on the other hand, clashes create hype for an otherwise not so hit-potential movie and gives that movie a push just on the basis of competition.

In this case, Raees was the potential money spinner, but not sure abt the other.
