Did u even read the article? It says Raees producers arm twisted the distributors to give more screens to Raees if they wanted Bahubali to be screened. Bahubali is huge and no exhibitor would compromise on that.
SRK last 2 releases were underformers one was a flop and the other avg, he is not at same level as Amir or Salman. Hrithik maybe not be a huge star but he is no less. As a producer Roshan has every right to demand screens in a fair manner without using under hand tactics. His grievience is justified.
Why would the Roshans move, they announced the date earlier, how would they know bhagora SRK would run away from Eid day and clash with them.
Do you understand basic economics? If they had a 60/40 deal with Raees, regardless of Bahubali or not, they can do that. There would be no "promise" to Rakesh Roshan then. That would be breach of contract. So what is he whining about?
No need to bring in Salman or Aamir to try to help out Hrithik. They are irrelevant in this clash. SRK is clearly the bigger star and the screens would get allotted accordingly. They expected they would get bigger numbers by giving the screens to Raees and they were right as occupancy is poor for Kaabil even in the screens it got. Extra screens wouldn't have helped Kaabil anyway.
Roshans can move or stay, nobody really cares. It's not like you can scream "dibs!" and take a date. Everyone can release whenever they want. If you can't handle it, you can move out of that spot. Or stay and get a flop. Their choice.
