Wow that was such a sweet interview. I thought it was really funny what she said about vin and their babies... 😆
She was nervous but did a really good job. I dont why people are complaining about her accent. I understood her just fine. If people are saying horrible things about her accent then i can just imagine what they would say to a Ukrainian or Korean accent.

and it was also horrible to read those comments of YT. Its not like DP made a fool of herself on international platform. She was so dignified and proud of where she came from.

And there you go. She showed her class again. By casually taking Vin's name she was slyly trying to generate publicity for herself. Just today i saw headlines of babies and everything. Mission accomplished. As long as she is in the news she doesn't care who she is throwing under the bus, Ranbir, Ranveer or the countless boyfriends she has used before.

And she is clearly not ready for international fame. You can see she was nervous. Ironically the one she tires to copy (i.e Priyanka) comes across as an actual superstar in her interviews. Whereas she looks out of place. She can try to fake it till she makes it but she doesn't have it in her.

I might not personally. But there are many of my fellow south Indians who are feeling so and that breaks my heart.

This is just a general comment but I don't think people even realize at times how vast India is and how there are so many different accents out there man! Even within India you are at times made fun of because you have a certain accent that doesn't sound "cool enough".The fact that Deepika didn't pretend to be something she is not , didn't try too hard to impress her , didn't try to put on a thick American accent actually is darn cool! Someone trying too hard never comes across as cool. Apart from that statement regarding Vin , I thought she was just absolutely spot on and darn endearing and you could see the warmth as well between Ellen and her even though it was such a short interview.
