FF7 didn't work out after the audition because DP was busy with Ram-Leela, or did she mean that she did not get the part?

Man can I just say it's so good to see her being herself and not trying too effing hard to come across a certain way , whether it then be her talking in her natural accent or whether it is her demeanor , it all just comes across as quite natural and not OTT at all. Don't know what to say with regards to that statement regarding Vin though! 😆

She had auditioned for FF7. I think its first time she is saying that... Deepika thats great! You don't need to shy away from that fact

Deepika was great on Ellen. Ellen was very supportive of her and warm also, but Deepika despite being nervous was remarkable. 👏

Also I loved what she was wearing... Go Girl!

She was super nervous in the beginning but she eased out later on. That was a sweet interview, I was smiling the whole time.

^ it isn't. Her accent is similar to most South Indians and they constitute almost half of ur country's population. So deal with it.

yes i m dealing with it n i find her english speaking skills bad... accent can be ok but her vocab is very limited also

Then be specific. Calling a typical south Indian accent pathetic is definitely uncalled for.

Deepika was extremely nervous and I think Ellen found it sweet and endearing. She was very gentle with her because she could see how shy Deepika was.

I normally don't like Deepika's accent but I think she sounded fine. Better than a fake accent which would sound even worse. Most people aren't able to manipulate their accent successfully so trying it makes it sound even weirder.
