I dont care much about the singers, but channa mereya is best in arijit singh voice.. The emotions i feel hearing that song, never get that feel in any other version i have heard of it..

I don't care much for the voice of Arijit. He is lucky to get good songs. Anybody with a good decent voice can make most of the songs he sings sound great. His songs become popular and hence he gets more songs. A song like Channa Mereya is great for it's tune but the voice doesn't add much to it!

Go listen to a Sonu Nigam song that you never heard or don't even like. The voice itself will move you! Then go listen to Arijit and you will see how flat his voice is. It's best to see unplugged version.

Edit: Oh and there was Atif Aslam too. 😆 I love the songs he sings but never liked his voice.

A huge huge Sonu nigam and Arijit fan😳 and I have heard both of them LIVE as well.. YAAAY me!! 😆 It's like comparing a legend with his fanboy 😆 Arijit respect and worships Sonu nigam...😳

Arijit can do wonders when he is given a chance - Laal Ishq 👏, Jo Bheji Thi Dua, Phir Le Aaya... Monotonous - if I judge him without any bias - he has that dard bhari jagjit singh/hariharan/papon type voice(All my favorites 😊and disclaimer: not comparing the singer - just giving an idea about his voice quality), which might seem one-tone... But Arijit does not let it be a limitation... let's appreciate the fact he does complete justice to all genres - Dilliwali girlfriend, Sooraj Dooba Hai, Taake Jhanke, Hungama Ho Gaya, Ghazals(Rishton ke saare manzar)... AND For me, Some songs just belong to Arijit.. His voice just touches my heart😳 😊 I look forward to every single song(even the romantic ones) but I look forward to his non-romantic songs even more- "Naina(Dangal)". He is brilliant 👏 One of the best ever - A legend on his own.. Also, I have a feeling that Arijit is actually going to work on this bit of constructive criticism and show that he can do it to Asha Tai(another one of my fav) 😊

Since, this post is about Arijit, I should not talk about Sonu nigam but versatility thy name is Sonu nigam - he can sing "Bijuriya" with funk and make you dance and then in the next minute - 'Abhi mujh mein kahin' with dard and make you cry... And I'm taking about live performance here 😆
