Abhishek rejects Aishwarya in his next, keen on casting a younger face

Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai
Bachchan have enthralled the audience
together in films like Guru, Raavan, Kuch Naa
Kaho and Sarkar Raj among others. Since
their marriage in 2007, the duo hasn't
worked together on the big screen and
their fans have been waiting to catch a
glimpse of them in a film.
While there wasn't anything official, reports
recently suggested that Aishwarya, who was
last seen in Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, was keen on
starring opposite Abhishek in his next
film, Lefty. However, Junior Bachchan seems
to have rejected the idea.
The movie is being directed by Prabhudheva
and is being co-produced by Abhishek and
his friend Bunty Walia.
A source informed a popular daily, "Since it's
a home production, Ash was keen on doing
the film. But Abhi has instructed his team to
look for a fresh, young face to play the
leading lady. He thinks Ash may be too
mature for the role."
Since there hasn't been any official
announcement on this, one wonders what's
the truth.

ANOTHER movie that was rejected by Aish and/or was about to feature Aish but didn't. Maybe it was "prestigious" enough as well. I wonder what excuses people (who are ever ready to pull down others) will make this time. 🥱

Why should Aish act with a flop actor, even if its her husband? She deserves a younger boy on screen too. Ermm

Wish she would've done the movie! But she also should go for an actor who is better looking & hotter actor & star status-wise.

Good decision. If movie flops, Brand Abhi-Ash would be affected. So it's better to remain in public memory as Guru couple.

As if Ash would do a Prabhudeva movie. She doesn't fit in to those flowerpot roles. They have been auditioning for new actresses for a while now - no top actress worth her salt would act opposite Abhishek anymore.
