All I'm saying is that it's unfortunate: Hrithik on Kaabil-Raees clash

Hrithik Roshan who is gearing up for his upcoming film, Kaabil, recently talked about the clash between his film Shah Rukh Khan starrerRaees. He termed it as an unfortunate thing however, no one can be blamed for that.

The actor was quoted saying, "Hopefully both films will do well, but on the whole, it will be a loss of about Rs 100 crores for the industry as compared to both the films releasing individually. My father understands that and he is sad about that, and he thinks that it could have been managed in a better way, but we completely understand Raees was in the waiting for too long. My wish is that when both the films do well, Shah Rukh, I, dad, Farhan and everyone will pop champagne and celebrate for each other." (sic)

Earlier too, in an interview with Rajeev Masand, Mr Roshan had pointed out how Bollywood and Hollywood are different and why a clash so big won't be experienced in the West. "In Hollywood, no two big films have ever clashed. Batman will never come with Superman, Lord of the Rings will not come with Harry Potter. So there they manage it really really well. It made me think that it is actually possible. I shouldn't be okay with it, we should not be okay with it. We should manage our calendar because it is better for the industry. Both the films coming together will be a loss, if both the films are good, we would still earn about Rs 100 crores less in the industry compared to both the films released individually. So it's okay. All I'm saying is that it's unfortunate but it's without blame." (sic)

Well, lets wish what Jr. said becomes true and both films does good on Box Office
