Like we 90's kid talk about music of our time be it ddlj , kabhi khushi kabhi ghum , tum bin , dil se , saathiya , kal ho na ho , di toh pagal hai, veer zara , main hoon na , tere naam , sangharsh, One 2 ka four, border , pardes, dil mange more , refugee , saajan , hum tumhare hain sanam , tumko bhula na payenge , dil chata hai , daag the fire , kasoor , pyar tune kya kiya , yaadien , dharkan , mohobatien , tera jadoo chal gaya, fiza, inteha ,khakhe, dil hai tumhara etc etc etc ...

Kids of today will remember Aaj bule hai pani pani and char bottle vidka as immortal classics 😉😆

The 90s ended 17 years ago...so at best 1990 was 27 years ago. I think 2040 would've been a better year to predict this. And the music from the 90s IS awesome...i think anyone who lived through it would tell you that. 😭

90 and 2000 were similar in term of music because same music directors were there till 06 or 07 ...it had melody but suddenly pritam and new music directors took over

I still think the 90s was the best time period in music. Also amount of talent and good looking people there were in the 90s. Compared today. I know it seems like today's actresses are more talented because they get better roles but there was far less nepotism in 90s and just fewer good roles. Nostalgia !

Music was a mixed bag then,and is a mixed bag today IMO. You do have ridiculous/nonsensical songs like Chaar Bottle Vodka but you also have amazing lyrics like ADHM. I don't think it's fair to say everything is bad right now! So hopefully in 2016 they will remember the good stuff 😆

Infact I think the female singers nowadays are good. I personally prefer their slightly deeper voices to the voices of earlier gens. I used to find them too shrill. But yes, all the male singers are sounding the same nowadays so there's no distinction left.

Every generation like their generation song and dislike oldies...at some point they realize old is gold and new is dust. Last 5 year has been worst music in bollywood, all they are doing is remixing hit song with new tadka. Creativity ki toh band aur baja donno ek saath baji di hai 😆

I too think 90s was the best.. maybe because of the spurt in creativity during that period which was more than other periods...

But TBH though, the quality in music has decreased over the years.. perhaps reached a new height in 90s and then kept decreasing.

The number of new songs I add to my playlist has been decreasing every year - this year, I have added just two to my playlist..

The "feel good" factor in songs has is rare to find these days... songs are definitely not pleasant.. Songs from 40/50s up until mid 2000s were good in the sense that they have a 'feel good' factor, can listen to it in any mood, are 'pleasant' on the years.

I hope parents in 2065 won't bore their kids with such songs during long journeys in car. I am sick of hearing vintage songs that my dad forces us to hear
