Idk about the affair thing, there were a lot of blinds and being given a relaunching vehicle like befikre where you have an Aditya chopra directorial with an actor coming off something like BM where he agrees to be the love interest while you get to be the clear protagonist is a lofty feat. Yes it could be that Aditya believed in her talent that much but he certainly hasn't done that for his other YRF ladies. There were stories about how for a month they were in Paris alone together doing workshops. :/


But yeah dharam was a JERK. he basically was a carricature for comic relief and his only "emotional moments" (which I think rs sold really well) he was still saying awful, manipulative things to her. Seriously the only demonstrative action we got that supposedly showed he cared about her was that he left a lap dance from his girlfriend to talk to her. Oh and slept on a couch when she broke her foot. Yeah he tries to reassure her about marriage but he undoes that almost immediately at her engagement party. you always have Shyra getting her heart broken/feelings hurt by him and you never really see him pine for her.

What happened? It flopped already?

well it's collections in indian boxoffice are not so different from other releases like ADHM, dishoom etc in 3 days...
But there's negative word of mouth, so it might not sustain... Mondays collection, we will know where the film is heading.. if it sustains at 7-8 crs on monday, the movie worked...otherwise it might flop if at below 5 crs...oh well😆

But it was good to see Ranveer's starpower has genuinely increased after Bajirao...3 days over 10 crs, no known actress...director was well known but it didnt sustain on staurday and sunday because of that as movie was panned...but Ranveer's most movies have opened at 10 crs in average so it's not new either...
Padmavati if well presented now can open above 18 crs..previously his movies haven't crossed 16 on day 1.

like how person like Indra Kumar after giving massive hits like DIL and BETA went into THARKI mode

I strongly dislike Aditya Chopra for doing this to Vaani and Ranveer. 🤢
