That's a pseudo star in my book. I mean even Saif can give hits against multiple genres and directors. 🤣

Agneepath comes immediately to mind. Yes there were other "stars" in that film but not exactly at the top of their game; Hrithik was THE star. He took a huge risk playing an iconic part where he might have been ripped for not being AB. As for Dhoom 2, I'm old enough to remember the original (which did well but was not all that), Dhoom 2 could just as easily have become Force 2 if not for Hrithik. I also don't understand the knock against him generally doing well in films directed by his father. He performs well for other directors also. It isn't as if he can only take direction from his dad (in fact he may take direction too well :( Even in films that were less than expected his performance is usually appreciated by critics.

He doesn't seem great at choosing scripts. He doesn't work quickly enough. Maybe he should be smarter and more aggressive with PR. All of that I will give you. Pseudo Star? No way. He would have been done and dusted by now if KNPH was a fluke. And Rakesh Roshan would be director of the century if KNPH, KMG, and Krrish were more his magic than Hrithik's.
