No wonder u brought down saif here, because saif is not only 15 years senior to Hrithik in the industry but also belongs to a royal filmy family which makes your argument of HR being fake due to filmy father look silly and dumb as f**k now.

Hrithik is a star, unfortunately you cannot prove otherwise sitting behind that side of your PC and showing ROFLing emos, one does not have his statue beside the Khans and Bachan only because he is media made, one again does not have a fee of 60 cr just because he has a father who has a production house ( in case we forget Abhi who has the greatest star as his father ), one cannot deliver commercial and critical success just because people around the internet has enough lame time to write a biography on him.

Bushan kumar who is the producer of badshaho said in an interview that Papa roshan consulted him before fixing the Jan 26th release date. Because Ajay was tied up with Shivaay, they hadn't started shooting so they were planning to postpone any way, I think.

Fair & Square. Those days, every newspaper BW section had article where title read - Newcomer destroys badshah. 😆 Khan uncles days are over. Coz HR was such a phenomena.

But he selected some stupid movies post KHNH. Barring Mission Kashmir. I loved that movie.

Rakesh Roshan doesn't even consider Shah Rukh as Hrithik's contemporary!

The trailer of Shah Rukh Khan's Raees is just fantastic! The trailer also confirms the film's release date which means that the clash between Shah Rukh's Raees and Hrithik Roshan's Kaabil is still ON! And now Rakesh Roshan revealed that Hrithik's contemporaries are Aamir and Salman Khan. In one of his interviews with a web portal, Rakesh Roshan went on to say, "I had tried my best (to talk to SRK and Raees makers) but then they thought that it is my weakness. But that is not my weakness. They took it the other way. They thought I am scared and all. But it is not like that. It is just my knowledge of films because I am in this business for 30-40 years and I know what happens when two big films come. For Hrithik, I am not worried at all. Hrithik is not that weak. His contemporaries are Aamir Khan and Salman Khan and they have crossed 300 crores. Sultan has crossed and Dangal will cross, because Aamir has made a good film. But since we are coming with Raees, both the films cannot cross 200 crores. It will affect both the films. Since I have made the film at a very tight budget, so even if my film does 100 crore, then also we will be in profit." Kaabil was scheduled to release on Republic Day 2017 from the start and Raees was initially scheduled to hit the movie screens this Eid 2016 but the film's release date got postponed. Although now the film is releasing on January 25, it is pretty much obvious that it's gonna be a battle at the box office right at the start of 2017. Talking about the big box office clash, Rakesh Roshan said, "Both are jumping into fire, not in water. In water, you can survive, in fire nobody will survive. It just remains to be seen who will get burnt more. Both are good films, both are looking good. I know about myself but I heard even Raees is a very well made film. Coming together is jumping into a well of fire. So they're intelligent people they must be having something up their sleeve which I have no idea. What with my experience personally as a producer and director is you can tell a blind man that there's a well in front of you, don't go, he'll divert. Open eyes se you see there's a well, then there's no answer," he further added.

Well, if the trailers of both Raees and Kaabil are anything to go by, they both look phenomenal. Let's see what January 2017 has in store for them!

PDHH was the Friday following KNPH but got overshadowed because KNPH was so huge. I genuinely think RR tries for solo releases. I have always suspected he never thought Jan 26 would clash with Ajays film because it (Baadshaho) would never be finished in time but am happy to hear (sorry I forgot who posted this*) the Baadshaho producer confirmed RR checked with him which I had not heard before.

Those who use that kind of lame arguments seem to be projecting their own parental issues on everyone else.

I agree. I hope both sides remain calm and thoughtful. My fingers are crossed for best case scenario for both. I wish piracy were not so widespread then both films would have a much better chance. It seems like after the first couple of days the pirated versions are so easily available many people (who would have no problem paying for a ticket) just opt for stealing instead 😭
