Sonam - DP Worst Dressed @ Star Screen & Salman - SRK Rocks in Da

There's no denying, Deepika and Sonam both were atrocious at Star Screen Awards' red carpet. It is quite sad to know that the two gorgeous actresses have been victims to bad styling. Seeing both DP and Sonam, all I can think of are mean comments. Why on earth would you wear the rose gown, Deepika? Have you learnt nothing from your past errors? And Miss Kapoor. Gosh, you're making it hard for me to believe that you're a fashionista. The biggest irony of their outfits is the fact that Sonam is called Bollywood's fashionista and Deepika received Style icon of the year at Star Screen, the same evening she turned up disastrously. The problem with both the actresses is that they try too hard to experiment. While I laud their spirit of wanting to do new things and trying out stuff, a lot of times they forget where to draw the line. Miss Padukone, you're blessed with a body a lot of people seek for. There's so much that you're capable of. Why rest yourself to making so many fashion faux pas? The Gauri and Nainika gown is actually custom made! Can you guys believe that? For a custom made gown, the designers have done quite a shoddy job. To make it worse, the hair game is also extremely unflattering. She looks like she just got up from sleep. If Deepika was so bad at the red carpet, wait till you see Sonam Kapoor. The fashionista tag is slowly slipping away from her grasp as she has been giving some not so impressive' statements in the recent past. While award shows are her playground for she can experiment, it wouldn't be the end of the world for her to tone down her experimental shenanigans for once. Just look at this gown. The forced sheer fabric around her cleavage, the terrible seam of black and white, the long trail, oh and the sleeves! The only thing good about this look is Sonam's face and nothing else. Hands down he was the most handsome man present at the event. All he did was dressed himself in black from top to bottom. Black really does wonders when donned by anyone. The suit literally oozed panache and in the best way!

While Mr Khan too decided to go with his bro, SRK's black obsession, however, he also added some shades of wine. Styled by Ashley Rebello, the actor wore a nice black shirt and trousers with a wine hued blazer. The addition of wine colour made the actor look quite dapper.

I remember that at one particular awards held recently, Sidharth Malhotra had donned a green suit inspired from an elf. This Dhawan suit reminds me of the same look but, there's a big difference. The bottle green chosen by Malhotra was bright while Varun's suit is a nice mellow hue. Plus, the brown brogues look too classy in the ensemble.

If its called a red carpet, it doesn't necessarily mean wearing a red outfit, just so you know Bips. In the past too, several times Bipasha has donned the red hue for red carpet and to be quite honest, it has always been a drab look.As you can see the gown, there's too much going on and too less that's appealing. It's a drab for Bipasha!

A similar advice to you too Miss Sanon. If it's a red carpet, avoid the shade or be camouflaged with the background. I wasn't a big fan of the satin gown that she had donned. There was this feeling creeping up in me that said, night dress, night dress, night dress,' every time I saw her gown. Perhaps its a very fancy night gown but it definitely isn't a red carpet worthy. Her back though, was damn sexy.

Miss Bhatt decided to put a spin to the gown culture as she donned a Sachin and Babi outfit. I found this spin rather appealing as it was different and she stood out from the gown crowd. However, I must add that the makeup artist did a shoddy job as her face looked quite tired. The eye shadow hue was a wrong choice as it made the look fall flat.
