Bips gown was far far better than DP's n Sonam's. Both the actresses are so pretty but looked Soo Horrible for their dresses, Y so much over doing in tryinv out new Designs.

Aliya's outfit was best but the eyeshadow was such a turn off. Bipasha for a change looked Prettier for her dress n makeup.

@Zaara : True. DD was looking beautiful even if not Extra ordinary, atleast she didnt ruin it by over experimenting. I m a fan of Deepika but lately her styling in Award show's doesnt justify her Look. She is so beautiful she should go for Simple yet classy look

I want to prune Deepika's rose. It's bigger than her face. With all the money in the world, why can't she wear something that looks good on her? Just wear a saree. She looked pretty in sarees last year.

Is it the fashion to wear tent dresses now? Some of the clothes I've seen on heroines are absolutely ugly these days.

Experimenting is fine but why make yourself look like the Salvation Army?

Designers toh obviously they will peddle their wares and say this is the latest. It's upto heroines to know if they look good or not.

It seems like while both wanted to reveal skin they also didn't want to come off too obvious, hence Deepikas dress is slashed to a point just above her pubic area and SONAMS is slashed at a point where if you take off the sheer fabric the moral police can haul her off to jail for exposing her inflated breasts. That too one breast looks lower and bigger than the other.

Deepikas fabric looks like heavy velvet which they use to make curtains in winter and sonams looks like heavy taffeta used for covering buffet tables at big dos.

I find Deepikas dress tacky on every level even without the atrocious humongous rose where you can't see her head...and SONAMS dress is quite nice if only it didn't hv that strippers cut in front, th cut could have been just a sliver and more subtle but the bottom part belongs to a five star hotels linen cupboard in the F&b section.

The hair do is elegant for both. Make up will of course be heavy for an award show. Sonam seems to hv gone for the Mongolian look, her lipstick shade is beautiful, Deepika looks pretty face wise...

Maybe clothes wise, they were both following Aishwarya's example at Cannes for her outlandish purple lipstick...just wear something shocking and out of the box, grab the eyeballs and the headlines.

But I prefer Sonams look to Deepikas.
