There hasn't been any notable debutant this year... So even if Dangal girls perform average -they will win! Not because of film, because other debuts were so weak and poor

He was really quite impressive in his debut. Diljit was great in UP too.
For the girls, I think the best debut was Mawra Hocane in Sanam Teri Kasam, but I believe she's a Pakistani so... is the boycott still going on?!

There's Saiyami Kher also for Mirzya.
Ritika Singh got good reviews for Saala Khadoos too.
The girls in Dangal have acted before, I'm sure I saw on IMDB..

So in Star Screen awards, Jim is not nominated in Debut category.
Diljit is nominated with Harsh, Harsh Rane and 2 more who I forgot.

Hope Diljit wins

Yep I do hope Diljit wins something. His segment with Kareena was the best thing about UP imo. I feel both of them have gotten the shorter end of the stick.

I'm not really surprised Jim wasn't nominated, the industry sometimes suffers from short term memory loss.

I don't know if it's possible but maybe they should have try to have the terrorists in Neerja be nominated together.

I though this category had been canceled. So it's only the Filmfare.

Well if Jim wins here he might get nominated for Best debut in other awards functions.

what is difficult in getting the best debut for starkids?

Didnt ranbir receive it for flopooriya? 🤣

Of course, ranveer getting for band baaja baarat can be termed difficult...but Harshvardhan, he would have received it for 5 minute role too
