She is decent actress. Though I dont like her real persona.

All the f**king time, since BBB. Acting aside, even her duck lips get passed off as beauty, when other actresses like PC have dealt with vitriol for their face muck ups. Some member said she looked better than Aish in ADHD. 😆

I liked her in NH10 only ... that's about it. She sounds really deep and introspective in her interviews and I like how she has handled her relationship with Virat w.r.t. media. So, I guess I like her as a person more than her as an actor.

when there is shraddha, sonam and even alia...anushka in NH10 is so much better 😆 if her competition was rani, sridevi, vidya... she would be judged differently..

She is way overrated in this forum. She is good but not an extraordinary actor.

Yes plenty. She gets overhyped for her looks, her acting everything. She is at best a decent actress with BBB and NH10 being the jewels in her crown. In ADHM , frankly I was turned off a bit by her loudness. Read her interview and was surprised at her understanding of her character in ADHD. She is definitely intelligent and maybe more aware than other actresses. However her performance didn't match up to her nuanced understanding.

I think till now I haven't properly seen or appreciated an anu movie, I would rank her even below deepika in my list. Because atleast deepika does different types of roles and characters, meanwhile, anu does the same bubbly role in every movie, there is no novelty in watching her act. And as someone commented earlier, I also don't connect her with acting, she is utterly forgettable for me.

nope. anu is working hard, and is delivering good performances. she is consistent, and i am loving the fact that she is also producing movies. where is overate or hype here. and if there is, she bloody deserves. it.

Anushka comes across as more intelligent and aware than Deepika in their non screen persona. One would think that ideally she would be a better actress. But Deepika surprises me with her acting. Barring Bajjirao, since yjhd she has shown great control in her acting. Her comedy chops in ce, her subtlety in finding fanny, the prickly daughter in piku she has shown sone good shades of acting. It's surprising because normally I would have thought Deepika doesn't get it. Anushka needs to push herself a bit more. I think she became a bit complacent after her early reviews. She was v.good in BBB. She showed shades and I remember thinking then that she could easily become the next Tabu. But since then she has been hits and misses. Her turn in Bombay velvet and now even in ADHM was not great. Especially ADHM BCom the story revolved around her and she was the anchor. She could have done wonders , which makes me think she is not pushing herself.
