I think Anushka is great...She might have mostly done bubbly roles but she aces that...Though I would love to see her in a more layered charterer and I think she is getting there. One thing I feel she too needs to experiment with female oriented roles. Most of her last hits have been multi-starrers except NH10. Even her next is with SRK. She needs to get out of the shadow of the biggies sometimes and do something.on her own.

Yes Anuskha is overrated here.

1. Her movies have same irritating loud bubbly charecter.
2. She never has proper lead actor role. It's always few dialogues here and there.
3. Media and the director never use her lead role presence to promote the movies.
4. NH10 felt like a copy cat of crime patrol episode. Their leads are genrally better actors than the charecters in NH 10.
5. Even in ADHM controversy and sucess Anu was no where mentioned. Ranbir, Ash, Fawad Khan and even Karan Johar were more in news than her.
6. She more known as Virat Kohli's girlfriend than as a popular actor.

Everyone is overhype as everyone have their own time. Anushka is a really good actress. I am neither her fan nor deepika

I feel both are good. Deepika has chosen different types of roles and has done pretty good in all of them. Anushka has stick with certain types of roles but she excelled at all of them. Her dialogue delivery and expressions are top notch.

I feel both of them could be better at times but love them for doing so well so far

I love Deepika's YJHD, Cocktail, Piku, CE

And I love Anushka's Sultan, BBB, NH10, PK, ADHM

She has Sultan and ADHM to her credit this year..and is doing Imtiaz's nex with SRK. Not to mention she is producing another film. She has been praised by critics and audiences outside of this forum also for her current successes in particular.

Doing same type of role and getting praise is enough for a good actor??? What about verstality ???

Ok here is the deal, I have liked Anushkha since her first movie and have wanted her to do well. Even when her careeer was dismissed, i have always hoped she did make a great comeback,she did. I think talented and innate in acting but i do feel somewhere she is overhyped and overrated. other celebs are overrated here too,but Anushkha is particular case where there is hyperbole i have seen here,that's all.
