honestly to me doesn't matter, if I find them good on screen will watch their movies :) e.g alia, rk, sonam, imran, vd, abhishek, vivek...

If they are pathetic then can say goodbye to their careers like Rinky Khanna(Twinkle's younger sister), Esha Deol, Kumaar Sambhav( Raj Kumar's son) did. I completely hated Athiya Shetty, Suraj Pancholi and Harshvardhan Kapoor. If the future star kids are of this quality no one will watch their movie

Not all outsiders are good. Some of them are not good enough even as a junior artists. There is big difference in doing some threatre and performing in films. I have no liking for the critically acclaimed movies. Most of them are so boring to watch. There are better documentaries in the market and on internet to watch than these movies.

Only ppl know Harshvardhan Kapoor(despite having terrible debut film), rest ppl don't even know names.

Lakhan you are blissfully unaware of budding heart throbs of teenagers. Look around for fans of
Harshwardhan Rane, Aditya Seal and Ashim . There are a few more names, all more famous than Harsh and Sooraj.

KJO is going to be savior for star kids. He just following pattern set in 90. YRF is doing it. Sajid is following it.

This question was asked in 90's why producers are launching their son, daughter or other star kids.
Answer tha money honey. With poor hit-flop ratio, producer are forced to take ghar ke log to save some moolah. Other Star kids are introduced with explicit instructions to their parents that they need to chip in into production money, kids should be groomed and they should work in few projects for lesser prices. The benefit to having star kids is instant name recall. Sometime star kids get fan base simply because their parents have fans.

With money saved they can always introduce genuine new face who is non star kid.

Here is truth about Ms Padukone. She is Prakash Padukone's daughter who was a celebrity and star player. Bollywood celebrity knoew about him . India knew about him. You didn't think she was just plucked out of nowhere. Ranveer Singh is part of Anil Kapoor's family whether they like it or not. I don't think his coming into industry was sudden. Anil must have given Ranvir's father name of person who could be used to introduce him to industry.

Don't like his looks... but hope he does well for our own sake.

Non starkids do not even get a chance. Chance mile tab to koi perform karega... out of the new gang - Sushant, Ayushmann etc are the outsiders and IMO much better actors than Arjun, Sid, Suraj or even Tiger... but they lose out on bigger opportunities. Starkids keep getting multiple movies, even if they fail, most outsiders are written off of their first movie fails... but then this is how things work.

I do not like Ayushmann at all. I find he is nothing special. There are many people who share a similar view like I do.

Ayushmann has created an image of an art movie actor. Why a masala movie producer and director would like to give a chance to such an actor.

Most of the star kid's parents pitch in money for their kids first debut. I have heard this from some people in Bollywood. So if you want a good role for launch you need to be either famous or rich.

Everyone dreams of becoming a bollywood super star. But the reality is without connections the security gaurd of the film director or producer would not allow the person to enter the office. This is the truth which one of my friend has realised after wasting more than 7 years in Mumbai. Now she is a full time corporate employee.
