i agree on the part...dil ka rishta...tum bin...tum bin 2 are all dark and twisted romance...
drunk and drive(dil ka rishta)...a road accident(tum bin1)...a skii accident(tum bin 2)...its a crime...the guys should be jailed...but here...they created the accident...are in guilt...help the leading ladies and her family to come out from their first love grief...than falls in love with the leading ladies...in the end everything is forgiven and forgotten...either they sacrifice their love and leaves like tum bin 2 or unite with the leading ladies like tum bin 1 and dil ka rishta

all the songs in dil ka rishta were nice...
arjun-ash had a good chemistry...
the let down was ash did not get her memory back at all...that ruined the story...otherwise its a emotional romantic film...arjun played the guilt riddden guy amazingly...i felt bad for him the part when arjun confess his love to ash after daiya daiya...priyanshu came to fetch ash back home in his bike...arjun was shocked and the silence b/w ash-arjun with only eye-locks...that was beautiful scene...very intense

There was also a cute scene where Ash used to teach deaf and dumb children in sign language and Arjun initially thought she was also like that

Shekhar didn't leave Amar to die. He was already dead. His friend took him away and washed away every clue. Dark wud have been when he had been caught away and still gotten away scot free.

He felt guilty and in the end he did want to suffer the consequences for his doing.

Also it is more important for victims i.e. family to get the help which Shekhar did.

I didn't find it twisted cuz Amar was already dead upon the impact of Shekhar's car hitting him. He would have stayed back too if not for his friend taking him away and washing away all the clues. He was also left guilt-stricken over this for months(or a year? Can't recall, someone please clarify). He also left for Canada to give Amar's family the much needed support and also rebuilt Shah industries from the ashes! Also the fact that he visited Amar's home first visit and told his father the truth immediately didn't leave any scope for the story to be 'dark' in any sense. He also wanted to suffer the repurcussions for his doing even though he had no real fault in it...the whole accident was circumstantial and he wasn't drunk driving or anything...

I thought it was a really good film and I loved Shekhar. Conflicted soul but with clean heart. :)
