On the next episode of Koffee with Karan season 5, Twinkle Khanna is going to put Karan Johar on the spot by asking him to choose between Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan and Fawad Khan...

During the rapid fire round, when Karan asks Twinkle, "Who is the coolest Khan - Salman, Shah Rukh or Aamir?" Twinkle straight away shoots back, "Why don't you have one more Khan - Fawad Khan and you answer this question..." First Karan smiles, then he realises it and you can see the expression on his face saying that he is completely stumped! Akshay, on the other hand, is left speechless too and so he sinks his face into his coffee. For those of you who don't know - even though Karan is very close to Shah Rukh, reportedly he was very fond of Fawad too. He was helping Fawad grow in the industry and had even signed him for three films - Kapoor & Sons, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and one more (reportedly with Katrina). In fact, he was also going to be the first guest on Koffee with Karan season 5 along with Alia Bhatt. But after the Uri attacks, things got out of hand and a ban was imposed on Pakistani artistes. Karan criticised this decision too, however he was met with protests. He finally said he will not work with any Pakistani artistes again till things are sorted out. Apart from this, when Karan throws in a trick question about what Akshay has that the Khans don't, Twinkle mentions, "Some extra inches." But as Karan gets interested with the answer, she tells him not to look at Akshay's crotch as she was talking about his feet. Twinkle then hit back as she revealed that Karan had always had his mind on other people's crotches, to which KJo replies, "Crotch, crotch hota hai." Both of them laugh, but Akshay is left speechless once again. Her next double meaning joke about the title of Karan Johar's book on Bollywood will leave you in splits too. Dressed in a pink silk buttoned v-neck dress by Alexander McQueen with a front button placket, long sheer sleeves, button cuffs, a concealed rear zip fastening and a pleated skirt, Twinkle completely rocked the look. Styled by Priyanka Kapadia, Twinkle completed the look with a classic watch from Bvlgari.


As far as the men were concerned, celebrity stylist Nikita Jaisinghani gave Karan Johar a customised suit, shirt by Dolce & Gabbana and Akshay Kumar a Dolce & Gabbana shirt along with Tom Ford shoes.
While the men looked dapper as usual, we couldn't take our eyes off Twinkle!

In the upcoming episode of Koffee With Karan 5, Karan's best friend Twinkle Khanna makes her debut with hubby Akshay Kumar. If he is the Khiladi of Bollywood, then she is no less. Known as Mrs. Funnybones, the lady is quick-witted and sharp.
Hence, it comes as no surprise that the teaser of the next episode is quite a blast with Twinkle spicing up the show with her one-liners. When Karan asks her what Akshay has that the other Khans don't, she replies,"Some extra inches." That is not all, she then asks Karan not to look at his crotch, as it is his feet that she is referring to.

The lady didn't stop there, when Karan quizzed her about the title of a book on Bollywood, she said "Tentacles to Testicles". Ahem! Now what do we say more? While she is all unabashed, Akshay Kumar goes silent with his wife taking on the mantle. He also says he cannot tell anyone what he goes through, when Twinkle very coolly says that she warned him she'd not have a second child if he doesn't start doing sensible movies.

The actor-turned-entrepreneur also turns the tables on Karan as she shoots a rapid fire of questions at him. From asking why Pluto has been dropped as a planet to who is the Defence Minister of the country - Twinkle states tongue-in-cheek that she is the only woman Karan has ever loved. To this, Karan acknowledges that he has dug his own grave by inviting her on the show.
Akshay, who had turned quite the quizmaster in Season 4, sets the Koffee couch on fire yet again. The leading Bollywood actor makes a huge gesture on the show as he sings for his wife and slow dances with her as the latter is finally at a loss for words.

I'll talk nonsense and then I'll regret it later and my husband will fire me. My wife is like that. I always tell her be diplomatic but she is like that... what is white is white and what is black is black for her. There's no filter in her mind. What enters in her mind, comes out!". Well with these promos featuring Twinkle Khanna talking about genitals and crotch, we all should be very scared of what might happen in the episode.

The first episode of Koffee with Karan hosted Shah Rukh Khan and Alia Bhatt who were there to promote their upcoming film Dear Zindagi and it was quite funny, but lacked any big and catty revelation for which the show is famous. The lineup of episodes after Twinkle and Akshay's includes guests like Parineeti Chopra, Aditya Roy Kapur, Sania Mirza, Farah Khan, Sonam Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan and of course the most awaited episode featuring Ranveer Singh and Ranbir Kapoor.

The new season of Karan Johar's Koffee With Karan is already getting rave reviews from the audience. While the opening episode saw KJo's favourite SRK & Alia Bhatt as guests, in the second episode power couple Twinkle Khanna and Akshay Kumar will be seen.

Tina, as she if fondly addressed, and KJo are BFFS since childhood. After much persuasion, this will be Twinkle's first appearance on KWK ever.

As we all know Karan tries to check everyone's General Knowledge who graces the couch, but this time it's the other way round. The audience will get to see Twinkle test KJo's GK. And guess how?! The actress will ask the filmmaker questions from her daughter Nitara's books, and Karan will not know a single answer!

Ooops moment for KJo on national TV!?

One of the most loved couple from B-town Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna recently appeared on Karan Johar's talk show Koffee with Karan. It was for the first time that the duo came together on a chat show.

Akshay and Twinkle went nostalgic reminiscing the days before the marriage. The love-couple revealed that they were dating a year before they got hitched. They also shared that when they were seeing each other, Frank Sinatra's hit song 'Strangers in the Night' played a very important role during their courtship.
It was Twinkle's favourite song so they used to keep listening to it on the loop during their courtship while they were shooting together.
Recently, when they came on a chat show Koffee with Karan, Akshay surprised Twinkle by singing the song for her, says a source.
In fact, Akshay's special effort took Twinkle by surprise. "And the way Akshay sung the song, it surprised not just Tina but all others present on the set of the show. They also danced to the number," reveals the insider.
The couple seems to have have had a good time together with KJo on the show. It's in no doubt that Akshay leaves no chance to impress her lady love.
Akshay and Twinkle have completed 16 years of their marriage and re blessed with two children, son Aarav Kumar and daughter Nitara Kumar.

Koffee With Karan season 5 had us absolutely hooked. The opening episode gave a generous scoop of entertainment with Shah Rukh Khan and Alia Bhatt unleashing their witty streak. While Baadshah Shah Rukh was in his element Alia was her vivacious self. The repartee, the reactions and razzmatazz was on full bloom as Kjo made sure that nobody and nothing is spared. Now we all know how sharp is Mrs Kumar with her words, don't we? After all she is columnist s indeed an author. So even if KJo was busy sending googlies her way, Twinkle made sure that she pushed the ball back in Karan's court. It so happened that when Karan shot a rather tricky question at Twinkle, the lady made sure that KJo gets a taste of his own medicine. "What Akshay has that the Khans don't? quizzes KJo "Some extra inches." responds Twinkle. OOps now that one got KJo thinking! But as Karan displays more pleasure at that witty response, Twinkle tells him not to look at Akshay's crotch! What followed made us raise eyebrows. Twinkle then adds that Karan had always had his mind on other people's crotches. Karan too decides to turn the joke on himself in a bigger way "Crotch, crotch hota hai." Akshay Kumar doesn't want to look at either and he decides to remain calm, with a hint of smile on his face. If you think the show ended right then and there, you are wrong. Akshay Kumar's wife was in full form and she made sure that it's not just the host who should do the talking when it comes to employing double entendre! So the action got even hotter during the rapid fire round!


Yes, the rapid fire round, when Karan asks Twinkle, "Who is the coolest Khan - Salman Khan, Shah Rukh or Aamir?" Twinkle has her answer ready with a lot of fire in her rapid words. "Why don't you have one more Khan - Fawad Khan and you answer this question..." she shoots back. Upon hearing that one from Twinkle, the host offers a rather coy smile. Hubby Akshay is so embarrassed that he decides to concentrate on the coffee offered to him. Clearly the lady is talking about Karan's fondness for Fawad. We could see her tongue firmly planted in cheek though! Oh how we loved the whole saga!

There will be some romantic tid bits on display too!
