I am not a hater, but this is the main problem as per me.

There's nothing wrong with Ajay as director.

Why should he stop directing? He's proven that he can direct movies and most people liked Shivaay unlike these sore losers like KRK, Raja Sen and Paid Critics.

No one is perfect...you know and it goes down to skills and experience as a director. Ajay did a good job unlike Arbaaz Khan who ruined Dabangg 2.

Ajay learned from his father Veeru Devgan who worked as a Action Choreographer, Assistant Director and Director in many of his 90s movies.

Sunny Deol also directed Dillagi & Ghayal: Once Again. If Sunny can continue to direct more films then why can't Ajay?

At the end of the day...he's not bad nor is he perfect as a director. Perhaps he can learn more but it dosen't mean he should give up.

Yes so like I said, he can probably concentrate on smaller movies and use those experiences as a learning curve, instead of going with an epic style of movie. It will enable him to achieve commercial success, which is important. Even if people are liking Shivaay, it might not be able to recover its costs so he should learn from it. Just my opinion, as a neutral person.

Before film, based on trailer even i thought it would be spectacular, after seeing film, now i get it why it hasn't done good business.
