Why Ajay is loosing clash battle from female stars?

Diwali is turning out to be bad for AD, seems like his earlier Diwali luck has gone years back.

Is not his worst time. It's more likely his luck on succeeding at Box Office.

The problem is Ajay dosen't have enough star power and he isn't the strongest when it comes to Box Office. I know its hard to say this because im a huge fan of Ajay and I admire his work and dedication. Sometimes you have be honest when you're a fan of somebody.

G3 won the clash because of Rohit Shetty and SOS got the success it need as Salman had a guest appearence.

Shivaay was a good movie and i knew during the opening that it will struggle. However, at least the film made up for it as it was doing well from Mon-Wed.

KJO was bound to win anyway because unlike him, Ajay didn't rely on unnecessary cameo appearences, super hit songs & media support.

I said this a while back that KJO's movies succeed for several reasons. Here's how it works for his films:

KJO + Dharma Productions + Media Support + Item Numbers + Cameo Apparences + Super hit songs = Hit, Super Hit or Blockbuster. Unlike My Name is Khan, the rest of his mindless films fit into that catergory.

That movie Shivay isn't bad. If he had controlled costs and taken even a B grade heroine, it would have worked. Songs of movie are melodious, they weren't promoted at all !!

The movie didn't need no B grade heroine. Shivaay reqired a foreign actress to play the role so it makes sense.

Shivaay disappointed regular Ajay movie lovers. He's expected to give a Golmaal or Singham type entertainer but Shivaay was too dark and sloppy for a festive period. On top of that no story or script. No good heroine, no desi feel wala foot tapping music.

But whatever it earned is solely beacuse of Ajay's starpower. And he should just stop directing. It's not his cup of tea.

Are kidding me? What are you talking about? Shivaay was loved by many Ajay fans on social media. You're points are invalid or maybe you've been reading to much of KRK's tweets.

Shivaay had good story and a script which some action movies didn't have e.g. Dabnagg 2 & Bodyguard.

The heroine was brillaint and music was superb.

Why should he stop directing? Shivaay was a brillaint movie and he's proven that he's capabale of directing films.

The way I see it, Ajay is a good actor. Everyone knows that. But he's probably not a good director. He should either stop directing, and get a experienced director to helm his projects, or direct really small films to understand how it works, and not incur huge losses if it doesn't.

Just now I read somewhere that Shivaay has done more than 10 crores today and ADHM a few crores less. I am not sure though. If someone could just verify.
