What i'm against is calling those people 'Touchy' or asking them to 'grow up'.
If some people are touchy then that's what they are. Are they not allowed to voice their opinion? Tell some Britisher that they are cold and un-emotional and they'll proudly say that that's who we are. But here people will call out Indians for being touchy and emotional as if that's a bad thing. arrey that's who we are too...take it or leave it.

When the whole Bollywood industry is thriving on selling emotions then should at least be careful of not offending the emotions of people, intentionally or unintentionally. But the problem is - these days people, like KJO, go out of their way to create controversies so that they can gain a few extra bucks even it it involves offending any particular segment of people.

I understand what are you trying ti say and I respect that.
You see extremes of any kind of emotion is harmful. Don't you agree?
Being cold and un-emotional to an extent might be fine but excess of that might be harmful to some.
Similarly if we continue to be sentimental and brag about it as our uniqueness and encourage ourselves to be sentimental/touchy it might cost us in future. I hope you understand what I am trying to say, I dont wanna go into details.

Legends like Rafi shud be respected says the same forum that calls Amitabh a pervert, in a relationship with his daughter in law and Jaya Bachchan a doormat , mad etc etc 😆 and many more have been ridiculed in the most vilest possible ways here but how dare we question a singer on his singing ability.

Personally I love Rafi's song and I totally hate 99 % of the current generation of auto tuned singers but really if someone doesn't like Rafi's singing I won't really call that disrespect. Its a personal liking in my opinion.

I do understand what you are trying to say...but who decides the limit where a person is considered sentimental/touchy or the limit where any dialogue/action crosses the boundary of respect? A few days back AIB ka koi member made a snapchat video on Sachin-Lata where lots of things like "you should just die" were said for Lata. people didn't consider even that as disrespect, while I considered it hugely offensive. People might call me touchy for that but in my mind I wasn't being touchy and the video was indeed disrespectful...

These days it's so common that people use abusive slangs in conversation like MC & BC... I totally hate them and speak against using such words even at the cost of being called touchy/sentimental by others. Should I let others decide for me what is disrespectful or not or do I make that decision for myself? If others call me touchy for that then so be it... I will take pride in being called touchy then being disrespectful! Period.

Indian people are so immature (and before anyone jumps on me, I'm Indian too). Always getting offended and insulted by every little thing that doesn't agree with them. Grow up. A fictional character makes a comment and the whining begins.

Why are desis so self-important that they can't handle opposing opinions? Every little random thing will have people crying and protesting.

Indians immature and cannot handle criticism on the people they adore? What about other countries? Will the media in England ever make fun of their Queen?

Everyone are touchy. May be they have few people to adore. We have plenty. So what?
