Akshay Kumar Donates Rs 9 Lakh To Martyred BSF Jawan's family

If we talk about giving it back to the society, Akshay Kumar is one actor who has done the maximum and raised the bar for other actors. After presenting 10 families with Rs 5 lakh each, an India Today report claims that Akshay has now extended help to a BSF martyr's family.

Akshay, who has played and done justice to roles like Airlift and Rustom is passionate about his country in real life too. And even when the debates around the ban on Pakistani artists are at their highest peak, Akshay has donated Rs 9 lakh to the family of martyred BSF jawan Gurnam Singh.

The report claims that Gurnam Singh had succumbed to his injuries after being targeted by Pakistani snipers after foiling a major infiltration bid in J&K.
