It would be idiotic if this was for Befikre promotion... Ranveer's fans seem more invested in his image as the perfect doting boyfriend to Deepika than actual investment in his films. This just makes him look undesirable.

Deepika Padukone is another Bollywood diva who had taken a fancy to Fawad. She had even gone for a flash-vacation to Barcelona with Fawad and Karan Johar . Back home inMumbai Deepika was very keen to get Fawad on board for Sanjay Leela Bhansali's RaniPadmavati.

"Deepika personally arranged for a meeting between Sanjay Bhansali and Fawad Khan. The two met and had a cordial chat. But nothing came of it.Sanjay Bhansali did not seeFawad in the role of Deepika's husband," says the source.

Thankfully things didn't work out. Imagine the stress the fastidious filmmaker would have gone through if he had signed Fawad.Apparently Deepika's recommendation has already created a tension with her alleged soul mate Ranveer Singh.
