Did you consider the fact that some people could be genuinely not comfortable with such intimacy? That ice-cream licking scene is surely vulgar to my taste- a scene that I expect in some B-grade movie...Just because some people find the intimate scenes a bit too much to their liking, its unfair to call them sexists, haters and what not!

I cant watch this movie with family.

It is more believable of them doing the sexy adaab,winking and giving come hither looks to a scruffy looking street singer.

It would not have offended us,that they let a guy touch their thigh suggestively..or them licking icecream suggestively(eww)at a public place.It is their image onscreen.

No offense but is it a compulsion that the guy has to be into her? Just because she happens to be 'the world's most beautiful woman'? What if that is exactly how he was supposed to react? Just a rebound or fling with no emotional attachment? And i think someone mentioned it the other day..That Ash was cast for the exact same reason..To show that despite having better options and despite having the 'most gorgeous woman' vying for his attention, he is still stuck on his first love and can't get over her or the connection he feels with her? Which will obviously be lost if Esha Gupta or Narges are cast as Saba..Cos we can obviously justify it in a shallow way that he din't find someone better than Alizeh so for the lack of better options he is still stuck with her memories ( cos say what you want but popular opinion is that Anushka is prettier than a Narges or Esha while Ash is mostly considered to be better looking than most people out there)..Which is also why i don't see why lack of attachment and chemistry between the characters as an issue..It was probably meant that way..

P.S. Of course KJo can mess up and make trash and all this might be lost in translation but if the leaked plot is true atleast to a extent, i can see the thought process behind casting Ash in the role 😆

With all due respects,

Why should not Aishwarya Rai do this role? I mean she is an actress and as an actor you are supposed to experiment with various roles, which is what she is doing here.

This is a role for Fakhri or xyz, I disagree - many here seem to be blindsided by the 'lust' in the scenes... Had it been a purely sex comedy using titillation as the ruse to attract viewer's, then a B or C grade heroines would have done but Saba is not that woman.

Her opening line states plainly that she is not looking for commitment but for fun, here is a woman who knows her mind, knows what she wants & more importantly what she doesn't want. She is looking for physical gratification and she finds a kindred soul in Ranbir's character. Both indulge in their lust and PDA which often happens when an affair or a fling begins. what's wrong in that scenario?

some say age is a factor.. you mean to say a woman who crosses 40 turns into a fossil, all the desires shrivelling up and crumbling into dust - news flash women are known to have active sex life right until their 70s/80s/death.. and the lady is in her 30s/40s - why can't she engage in a no strings attached physical satiation?

Urdu is not my cup of tea but I was told by my friend that Tajali is something pure and worshipful and I loved the fact that when Ranbir sings Tajali - the camera focuses on Anushka and when he sings Tasali - it focuses on Aishwarya. It shows the statuses of the women in his life.. 😊

exactly...what if that is the story ?? That its all physical attraction between Aish and Ranbir and there is no emotional connect.

They are just sexist, ageist jerks. She looks like a goddess in the song, they were super hot together. And Ranbir and Aishwarya are easily the hottest pair Bollywood has seen in a while.

Seriously, Nargis Fakhri ? One Rockstar with her "acting" is enough. I can't even watch that movie because she is terrible in it.

IMO she is using him for sex and is doing so because she is lonely ? Isn't she a widow or something ? Ranbir plays a guy who has unrequited love for the Anu character from what I understand. However beautiful the other woman in front of him, she is the not the woman he wants. Makes sense. I would be uncomfortable if he comes across strong on the Ash character as that does not jive with what I understand with the story of the Ranbir character being a one sided love. But he is also lonely and human so he takes comfort with someone who is equally as lonely. It's just sex here, not love. So I don't see the fuss as to poor Ash, she is so pretty and Ranbir is ignoring her. 🤔
